Superb location

Excellent location, walking distance away from the centre of Hamburg and a short walk away to Central station.
We stayed in the room that slept 3 people. The double bed is a continental twin bed so easy for two people to share if you are not a couple, like I did with a friend. The single bed was in the living space alongside a sofa and a dining table.
The kitchen is well equipped for you to be able to cook should you wish to.
The bathroom has an automatic light which was strange at first but is okay. It is equipped with a walk in shower with a raised step.

Top notch in the middle of Hamburg

We arrived late in the evening by car in Hamburg and got excellent help from the staff to understand how we got into the accommodation. Very clean and nice place with a lot of space and right in the center of the city. On the same street is Korean Fried Chicken, good Ramen place (2 meters from the hotel), Vietnamese and an Afghan restaurant. A cool second-hand shop is also around the corner. Wow!

Very good accommodation in a perfect location in the heart of Hamburg

We booked an apartment with two bedrooms for four days (we were there with 3 people) and ended up staying in apartment no. 1 on the street side (€275/night).
The location is very good. 7 minutes walk from the main train station and 5 minutes from the Alster.
Check-in was easy, but could have been a bit more empathetic (after saying 'Hello', we were told 'You still have to pay').
The apartment is spacious and equipped with all the necessary utensils, everything seems well thought out. At the start, there is water and coffee on the house, there is both a filter and a Nespresso system.
What is not necessarily convincing and has already been mentioned in other reviews. The entrance area and the bathroom are controlled by a timer for lighting. In the end, this is not always effective. If you trust the guests to turn the lights on and off again (only then), this is not the best solution.
The rooms are a bit noisy in the upper areas and it can be a bit noisy at the front, despite very good windows.
Regardless of that, the accommodation is a clear, if not particularly cheap, recommendation and the location and the good facilities are plus points.

Spotless and Spot On Location!

Returned here this time as a solo guest and got a one bedroom apartment on the 4th floor. Check-in after 5pm meant the key was in a coded key-box at the entrance, no problems and the lift took me up to the 4th! Very clean and new looking as last time and everything you need including some little gifts, Apple juice, water, biscuits and plenty of tea and coffee and long-life milk. Just so nice after travelling to find these included in the fee. Every amenity for preparing your own meal, but with the assortment of restaurants all within 5 mins walking didn’t need to cook! Nearest bus stop for Strandkai & Haven City (warehouse area & Miniatur Wonderland) is about 6mins walk away as is the hautbanhof for all trains and Metro services. This was my second visit and I wouldn’t hesitate in returning as I use Hamburg as a “rest” place before onward travel. One tip - the minimum stay is two nights.
