Wonderful stay in a great hotel

The hotel is centrally located, with the main train station and Outer Alster within walking distance. Public transport is also quickly accessible. There is an underground garage. Free Wi-Fi. The abundant breakfast is excellent. There is even always fresh fruit available. The rooms are large and clean. All the staff are very friendly. The entire decor of the hotel has a certain charm. We felt very comfortable.

This hotel is an older property which shows wear in the furniture and carpet. The bathroom floor was not particularly clean. Our bed was comfortable. The staff was friendly and helpful. The area is a bit mixed and sketchy at night. I probably would not choose this hotel again.

The Hotel is situated close to many other sites in Hamburg. The employees are all very helpful and kind. The rooms were clean and adequate. A very important detail, the hotel has a parking garage. It's small but I didn't come across another hotel that had it's own parking garage.

Hotel Senator Hamburg 4/2026

very good location, 5 minutes from the main train station. bin zum 3. Been here once. Very nice and helpful staff, very good and rich breakfast also vegan, rooms have everything you need, mattresses not too soft, had single beds. Out the back very quietly.
