Very good hotel

We stayed at the hotel after a night flight. Also our 2. Visitation was outstanding. The rooms, the service, the breakfast... all very good

An aircon that doesn’t work in 27 degrees warmth and internet speed - so bad… well, dit just add up despite good breakfast and nice bed!

Very disappointing!

As a frequent traveler, I have now visited a great many 4-star hotels (and also several other Leonardo Hotels) on this planet.
I have now been to the Leonardo Hannover Airport for the third time, but this time it was definitely also the last time.
During my visit, I occupied room 322 from 8/3/2026 - 8/7/2026.
In these five(!) days, room service only showed up one(!) time. And that with outside temperatures around 77-86 degrees.
Coffee capsules are not replenished after use, and anyone who likes to drink their coffee with milk will only find five packets of sugar in addition to a small packet of coffee creamer.
The air conditioning consists of a Stiebel Eltron unit, which feels like it is from the 1980s and achieves no real cooling effect other than making a terrible noise.
The carpet in the hallways and in the rooms has definitely seen better days. Likewise the vinyl flooring in the elevator. I was so grossed out that I preferred to enter my room only while wearing street shoes.
The refrigerator in the room was as warm as a heater upon arrival, and after a complaint, it did get a bit colder the next day. However, it was not enough to adequately cool the groceries I bought, so I had to dispose of them on day three because they had spoiled.
The internet is a tragedy - according to the website, the hotel offers "high-speed internet." Far from it! Anyone who wants to watch the news on YouTube in the evening won't get much more than frozen images and choppy sound.
Caution: Anyone who gets into their shower in the morning should, as a precaution, set the mixer tap to completely cold. Otherwise, it can certainly happen that (as happened to me) you get a burn on your scalp with the first gush of water.
In retrospect, I have to admit that it was my fault, because a sticker on the bathroom mirror explicitly warns the hotel guest about the risk of burns in the shower in what felt like 10 different languages. Unfortunately, it was already too late for me.
The mini-balcony was partially overgrown with plants and partially contaminated with bird droppings. Apparently, cleaning the balcony is not on the housekeeping staff's to-do list.
Oh yes, the parking spaces. 22 euros per day (outdoor, no garage) and parking is all over the place. If you arrive at the hotel a bit later in the evening, you have to walk up to another five minutes.
I decided not to have breakfast after all, as the price of 21 euros is disproportionately high. You can actually have breakfast cheaper at Terminal C at the Mövenpick.
And all that for around 105 euros per night.
Our company occupied and paid for four rooms on the third floor during this period. My colleagues can also confirm the above-mentioned experiences.
Actually, we were supposed to check in there again next week. After these experiences, however, we have now booked into the Maritim across the street.

The air conditioning was linked to one of the lights in the room, when the lights are off, so it does the AC.. Luckily, we were too tired to make any complains and we sleep with the lights ON. :(
The AC was also blocked with the curtains.
The Hotel manager understood the feedback.
