Kurzurlaub

Wir waren am Pfingstwochenende in der Reichskrone. Es war einfach nur toll. Frühstück und Abendessen waren sehr gut. Jederzeit würden wir wieder hier buchen.
Das Personal war jederzeit sehr zuvorkommend, freundlich und hilfsbereit. LG das Pärchen mit dem Himbeer

Thank you, not again

Booked 5 nights' accommodation in a double room, according to the hotel bill in the main building room 505, stayed in the annex/garden building room 503 (sauna conditions upon arrival), there was no information before booking about construction work in the entire property (information only about road construction work). The double room was sparsely furnished and very small but clean, mattresses saggy, bathroom should be modernized. WiFi reception was a disaster. The construction noise and the neighboring wood processing company caused a lot of unrest. Compared to a 2 star hotel in HH, this was a maximum of 1 star.

Decent

The hotel is decent, the room was clear and quite comfortable. Unfortunately there was no AC so warm weather makes it unbearable. Leaving the windows opened for the night is even worse since there is some kind of factory nearby and they start their day at 6 am. You can chose between being too hot or not getting any sleep becuase of the noise.

Best value and pleasant stay

We arrived after dark and were welcomed by a warm and cozy hotel. The hotel is old with a lot of character. The room served our purpose – it offers the necessary and was clean, warm and pleasant. Dinner at the restaurant was very good with great local beer. Breakfast was a wide range of cold meats, cheeses, bread and eggs. Wi-fi was free with fast connections. Overall, the best value for money experienced in Germany to date.
I recommend it for short stays.

Im Arrangement für Kurzzeitaufenthalt ok

Sehr nettes und motiviertes Personal, überdurchschnittliches Frühstücksangebot und auch ausreichend großzügiger, includierter Parkplatz als Positiva. Leider kämpft aber das altehrwürdige und teilweise etwas unzureichend modernisierte Haupthaus - zumindest im Hochsommer auf Südseite stark thermisch aufgeheizt - mit seiner verkehrstechnischen „Bestlage“ unmittelbar angrenzend an eine Hauptstraße und Industriegebiet, so dass kaum Urlaubs-Wohlfühlatmosphäre herrscht. Gesamtnote daher befriedigend aber nicht vollständig „gut“.
