Nice room in the first row by the sea

The room was very nice and the mattresses were very good. Small terrace with two lounge chairs and an awning with a view of the sea. We felt very comfortable.

Family celebration for the 80th.

The location of the hotel, the quality of the rooms, and the restaurant leave nothing to be desired. The friendly service is particularly noteworthy.

The proximity to the harbour could not be closer! Good location.
The room was small but clean. The area near the sliding door had a table, 2 chairs and 2 foot stools. It felt very cramped.
We spent Aus$977 for 2 nights and had to ask for fresh towels for the 2nd day and tea bags, 4 tea bags were provided. It seemed a bit paltry.
The reason given was to be environmentally friendly.
After requesting, which I do not like to do, the items were provided.
The room bin was emptied unasked at the same time of dropping the items off, but I would have expected house service to make the bed as well.
There was a nice intro to the island provided by the receptionist with a glass of bubbly.
The garden had lots of little sitting areas to be either secluded or to take in the beautiful view.
The breakfast is not to be missed! A great experience and it could not be any better!

We stayed at this hotel as our usual one had closed due to the owners moving on.
Hotel was awesome! Great history of Helgoland on show throughout the hotel. The rooms were well decorated and furnished to a high standard.
Staff were attentive and the breakfast tremendous.
We shall definitely return.
My Grandmother was born on Helgoland and I shall always return. It’s a very special place.
