House with high feel-good effect.

I felt very comfortable here. The hosts were very friendly and took very committed care of the well-being of the guests.
The food was excellent.
I will definitely come back to this beautiful country house on my next stay in Hanover.

Stat away from this place!

This is a big rip off! Once an exhibition is cancelled due to the Corona situation in Germany, they won't return the money we've paid. They asked us to pay in full in advance using bank transfer. Once the exhibition was cancelled they just wanted to give us 10% back of an amount of €1800- 1900. We have been there before, but we will never go back. These guys are only in it to make money. We managed to get 50% back after having to use a German lawyer and a friend living in Germany to hjelp us. Never again! Thieves and crocks! Stay away from this place! Next time, we are going for a real hotel that are more sincere!

Wow! A real gem!

Excellent food, we all enjoyed the seasonal asparagus dishes. Ample menu. Very nice ambience and very comfortable, relaxing at the same time.
I was very happy with shrimp, strawberry and asparagus salad and duck for the main dish. Chocolate mouse was so rich for dessert that I couldn't finish it!
Definitely will go back. Like to try staying in one of their accompanying hotel rooms.
Reasonable taxi ride from Hannover Messe grounds.

Beautiful traditional restaurant with hotel. Service was first class and ambience just perfect. First class meal well presented . Staff even translated the menu for non German speaking customers. The pumpkin soup was served in small pumpkin.

Best restaurant & hotel in Hannover

This is my second time here at the Artischocke and it is always worth the visit. Clean, cozy and warm, this place is just above the business hotel I am used to. The restaurant is amazing with fresh and tasty food. Just get one dish in the menu and you won't get disappointed. Breakfast is also very good. The atmosphere is relaxed and quiet, and I appreciate the fact this is a quite particular hotel. In low season price are super affordable. Might be packed when there is the Messe but you can well plan in advance your visit. I will definitely come back again.
