It is difficult to give this hotel a fair rating. When we arrived it was closed even though we had a confirmed booking . They did us stay the night anyway and we did get brekfast but Mondays where their day off

Service and food - sometimes very good, sometimes well!

We have been to the Misselhorner Hof before. And the service is always a bit different - sometimes super nice, sometimes you wonder. Likewise with the food, here I often ate really good game, but again found the plate bigger than the fish itself with the fish dish.

Didn't get a table despite reservation

I booked a table for 1:00 p.m. by email.
When we arrived, there was a sign that said, "Dear guests, hot food only from 6:00 p.m."
We had taken the day off because we wanted to go hiking in the Misselhorner Heide afterwards.
When we asked, we were told that they only serve drinks inside. We weren't allowed to sit outside and there was no room for us inside. So we had to leave hungry and found it impossible to deal with them, because they could have replied to an email to prepare us. The shop obviously won't see us again. We had to travel further, but we were still regular customers.

Pleasant check-in and we got a good room with a view of the nearby stables. It was rural idyll, which we appreciate, as well as the peace and quiet. Especially on top of a week's holiday in a big German city with a lot of noise. We got up for a sumptuous breakfast with everything the heart could desire.
