A friendly place in a super quiet environment

A friendly place in a super quiet environment. The city is in a few minutes walking. It is a good place to dinner; succulent and homemade food. Very clean rooms. Would improve slightly the amount of light in the bathroom. A very right place .Staff very friendly and helpful. I will return !!

Authentic hotel

I stayed here 1 night for business purposes. The hotel is located in a very quiet location. Staff is very friendly. The accomodation and rooms were basic. The food in the restaurant was good, but not great.

I have such a great time here!

Peaceful, refreshing, quiet, intimate with nature, excellent service (beats any regular hotel in the US!), comfortable room, great food, hearty breakfast, a hidden treasure in this small town... I'm staying here for 2 weeks for business trip and I'd stay again when I come back. All our company employees stay here and say the same thing! ... Too bad my family can't join me. Otherwise, it's a great pleasure to be here!

Excellent...Awesome Experience!

This is an excellent place to stay. It is an old farmhouse which has been owned and operated by the same family for many generations. The owner added more bedrooms, the bar, etc. The view of the countryside from the patio is absolutely amazing! The owners live in the house, tend the bar, prepare the meals...it is absolutely awesome. I have some pics to post later.

Traumhafte Lage, wunderbare Gastgeber

Während eines langen Reha-Aufenthaltes meines Mannes in Hilchenbach bin ich hier immer wieder gern angekommen und habe das Hotel gut kennengelernt. Das familiengeführte Hotel liegt traumhaft ruhig im Wald - nur ca. 1 km vom Ort entfernt - und lädt zum Verweilen und Entspannen ein. Insbesondere die guten Mahlzeiten bei Sonnenuntergang auf der gemütlichen Terrasse werden mir nachhaltig in Erinnerung bleiben.
Die Gastgeber - Familie Paul - sind ausgesprochen herzlich und zuvorkommend, sodass ich mich hier sehr gut aufgehoben gefühlt habe. Die Küchenfee bereitet sehr schmackhaftes bürgerliches und regionales Essen zu.
Auch das Frühstücksbuffet bietet alles, was das Herz begehrt, auf Wunsch frisch zubereitete Eierspeisen inklusive
Die Zimmer sind modern und mit sehr guten Betten und großen Badezimmern ausgestattet. In allen "meinen" Zimmern funktionierte WLAN hervorragend.
Ich kann daher dieses Hotel uneingeschränkt empfehlen.
