Not a 4-star hotel
The first problem we had with reception. It's supposed to be available until 11pm. We arrived at 7.30pm and no one was there. Access to the building is only by pin, which we had not been provided and there was only one phone in which they did not answer our calls. We opened another guest and on the counter if we had an envelope with our key and instructions to enter the room. But we met on the street. More than 30 min to get in.
The room on the way in was freezing. At 11 degrees and all radiators off. Very unpleasant.
I do not recommend booking. For the same price there are better options.

Spacious city hotel in a prime location – ideal for business travellers with trade fair breaks
Positively noteworthy is the central location: Hildesheim’s Old Town with its charming restaurants is within easy walking distance – ideal for a relaxing evening after a long day at the fair. If you, like me, find the hotel breakfast too expensive or a bit monotonous, you will find several good bakeries in the immediate vicinity as an alternative.
The room was very spacious, with a separate seating area – almost too much space for a single night, but of course pleasant. Cleanliness and facilities were fine.
A downer was the price: During the Hannover Messe, the accommodation costs were disproportionately high, which was disproportionate to the actual consideration – but unfortunately this is probably common at trade fair times.
The journey to the fair in Hanover was quick and uncomplicated by taxi.
Conclusion: Recommended for business travelers, especially outside trade fair hours.
