Welcoming and modernized hotel in style

Nice hotel, beautiful location, pleasant service.
Great care for vegetarian meals with lots of variety.
Great packed lunches.
Lovely pool and nice sunny room.
Good starting position for many walks.
We would definitely come back.

Was overall very ok

Ageing hotel .
Rooms stale would have to be reworked. There are 2 bowling alleys and a pool with sauna which were quite ok.
Prices were a bit confusing but ok. Were there with a big family over New Year's Eve.
Family of the hotel made quite an effort, unfortunately the owners cannot find a successor. Pity very nice hotel with potential.

A hotel with a lot of potential

The aging hotel is a place of peace and quiet. It is run by the owners, a married couple who try hard but quickly reach their limits. You get the impression that the hotel is more of a burden than a calling. The rooms have been partially renovated and are in good, modern condition with flat screen TVs and WiFi (10 Mb). The furnishings in the restaurant/breakfast area are several years old, but clean and tidy. My highlight is the great food in the evening. Breakfast is a good German standard but nothing special. Nadine whirls around and serves the guests with great joy and competence. She was the bright spot of a long weekend. The swimming pool (approx. 5x10m) and the sauna, on the other hand, are in top condition and very inviting. A closed bar and unused bowling alley in the basement show the great potential that is unfortunately no longer being used. The lack of staff after Corona is cited as an explanation. It's a shame that they don't want to or can't exploit this great potential.

Lovely hotel in a beautiful spot

Lovely hotel in a beautiful spot. Big swmming pool, sauna, spacious rooms, friendly staff, good kitchen. Great hiking all around. Yes, if you use a magnifying glass to check all the corners, you will find something that isn't entirely spick & span, but I dare you to find a place of this price/quality ratio. If I could, I would go there every year

I spend some days with my wife and son of 7. It is an average hotel old modeling. The breakfast is ok but diner is too moderate for the price. It is also more a hotel for older People so I regret our choice. Only the swmmingpool and sauna are perfect.
