Ideal hotel for our gentlemen's group (where the alcohol naturally flows in streams)

Our stay at the Hotel Bad Griepshop will remain in our memories forever - not least because of the crazy experiences in our group of men. We were a group of five intrepid adventurers and decided to have as much fun as possible. Of course, that included drinking plenty of alcohol. The star of the stay was undoubtedly the extremely friendly gentleman at reception, who always provided us with alcoholic drinks. He endured all our escapades patiently and kindly. The large, sumptuous evening buffet delighted more than just the American in our group. To satisfy our appetite at midnight, we then prepared a sumptuous cheese platter in the hotel room. It goes without saying that this was accompanied by various alcoholic beverages (whisky, gin, red wine, etc.). During the night, we lost the key to one of our rooms and, in a wild frenzy, rode up and down the elevator in a desperate search for our shelter. But the real highlights of our stay were the moments when we lost our oldest travel companion (in his wheelchair!) twice. The first time in the already closed restaurant when he was suddenly alone in the dark. It wasn't until 1:00 a.m. that we found him again after he fell out of his wheelchair. Then we promptly forgot him in the hallway a second time. It was chaotic, but damn fun! Hotel Bad Griepshop definitely helped support our adventurous and party-loving nature, even if we were a bit disorientated at times. Overall, it was an unforgettable stay full of laughs and unpredictable twists and turns. Cheers to the hotel and its friendly staff who bore our crazy adventures with a smile!
Addendum:
The next day we found out that other guests in the hotel were also talking about our escapades. Apparently we had decorated the table with lots of liquor bottles, which probably caused some smiles and head-shaking from the other guests. But hey, we not only made ourselves laugh, but also others - and that's one way to lighten the atmosphere in a hotel, isn't it?

A hotel to forget.

A hotel to forget.
Clean rooms, yes – but that’s it. The bathroom is tiny, cramped and not barrier-free. Breakfast goes like this, but dinner is an imposition: a boring menu, hardly any taste, only between 5:30 and 6:30 p.m. After that there is nothing.
The saddest thing: A single service person has to do everything – reception, service, dinner. I honestly feel sorry for this person, because this is not a Service problem, but an organizational problem.
Sauna and pool? Four loungers, all old and worn. Overall, the hotel seems to have fallen out of time.
Conclusion: Not recommended. If you are looking for relaxation or hospitality, this is completely wrong.

Definitely not again.

Nice room, but cold. The heating couldn't be turned on, the same in the bathroom/toilet. A bit of renovation would be good. Also in the swimming pool!
The buffet is very simple, you have to get there early, even in the evening.
Very monotonous, the same thing every day.

Nice hotel

Nice hotel, beds were good but pillows too soft for us.
The pity was that there was nothing to do in the evening after 8:00 PM.
There were almost no staff because they couldn't get any. Same problems as in the Netherlands. But all in all it was a nice hotel.. very good breakfast.

Nice and quiet hotel.

What a beautiful, authentic, quiet hotel. We were received very kindly by the owner. We had to wait until 2 p.m. before we could go to the room, but that wasn't a problem. We were much too early ourselves. A beautiful large room on the 2nd floor. No balcony but we don't mind that. We also booked dinner on the day of arrival. That was a pleasant surprise. Buffet-style choice of snitzel and/or fish, fries, warm fresh vegetables in sauce, a large salad buffet and a dessert. This includes a drink of your choice. Most guests are elderly. We are the youngest here. A top hotel for us. A big 8
