deserved ****, especially for the food and the staff

Great hotel right on the ski slope. The reception at the winter parking lot was very nice and unusual, because you are driven up to the hotel with your luggage in a snowcat.
Despite arriving early (check-in from 3 p.m.) we were able to use the hotel facilities, skiing and lunch - very positive.
The food was absolutely unique, a feast for the palate - but don't be confused by the description in the menu and just try it. Portions could be a bit bigger, otherwise ****
The service staff were sometimes a bit overwhelmed and distracted
Value for money still a bit expensive, maybe we'll come back in the summer, especially since the ski area is far too small for ambitious skiers.
Some guests took the comfort a bit too literally and ran around the lobby in ski underwear and socks, feet with sweaty ski socks at the table were the crowning glory of the nursery

Not Critical

We were there for the weekend and were given a very friendly welcome. Also the ground floor room we liked very much. So we went to dinner in good spirits and looked forward to the menu selected on arrival. However, this one has to be surprised, since the description of the individual courses merely strings together the foods used and hardly allows conclusions to be drawn about the processing form in which they will come.
All in all, the individual dishes were tasty and creative. But the soup was a big disappointment. It tasted like nothing and was watery. Since we didn't want to use up the entire supply of salt and pepper from the table, as the neighbouring table did, I left my soup. While cleaning up the restaurant manager(?) said: "what I don't like, I probably don't eat". I found this sentence alone presumptuous and cheeky. But he had to go one better:"that's just vegan". I guess that means vegan can't taste good. It should be mentioned at this point that we have chosen the vegan menu. Actually, we would not have found it bad that part of the menu did not meet the expected quality (after all, the menu costs 59 euros per person), after all, the tastes and expectations are different. But the way the remark that the soup was watery was handled is absolutely unacceptable.
After this event, it was also over with the courteous nature of the employees. We were asked on arrival if we had a good trip, so we were not asked on departure whether everything was to our satisfaction, nor wished a good trip home. Actually, we just wanted to have a nice weekend and let it go well. But for some reason, letting the soup go back has shaken the ego of the entire hotel staff to such an extent that we felt we were becoming unwanted people.
We think that a hotel in this price range should have better trained staff who can handle criticism constructively. Due to this experience, we will not book the hotel again and will not recommend it.

Highly Recommended

All in all, a great stay. The room was great and smelled wonderful of Swiss stone pine. The food was delicious and unusual. The staff were courteous, friendly and open-minded. We would love to come back.

Hotel

Wunderbar. I loved the personal from the front desk (Ann-Katherin) to the kitchen (Sebastian) and the servers in the restaurant. The meals were fabulous due to Sebastians wonderful knowledge of food. The yoga class I took was breathtaking. The room was beautiful and clean with everything we needed. My husband and I had such a lovely time and would love to go back again :)

Family ski

We were in a hotel for 4 nights with our 4-years daughter. Hotel in the middle of the slope which is a great plus especially when you ski with a kid. The receptionist- Tina was a great helper, she speaks English very well and offers her help with anything you need. Service in a restaurant- ok, just regular. Houskeeping- very nice! Temperature and silence in a hotel and its wooden climate is great advantage as well. Very clean rooms and bathrooms.
What is a minus was the fact that the hotel is prepared specifically for German speaking guest. The menu was in German only, the guest information in rooms in German only etc. what is more, when we were making a reservation, it appeared that Guests from Germany do not need to make an advance payment in opposite to us (we are from Poland). Why? Do not know.
There is no swimming pool or kids area unfortunately, but the hotel informs about it so it was not a surprise although we regret that there is nothing to do for our daughter in the evening apart from playing with her own dolls.
Bio food is a plus :)
