This accomodation was fabulous. It was lovely to have a peaceful night in the beautiful countryside. Accomodation was excellent and you were able to use their lovely wellness area with saunas. Restaurant was excellent serving delicious food by the friendly staff. Breakfast was great and if you ask they do provide GF bread ( perhaps ask ahead of time) . We would definitely recommend this accommodation. Lovely views from room and drinks area.

Between beautiful nature and disappointing reality
Situated a little off the road, this hotel scores points with a really beautiful natural landscape – ideal for extended hikes and fresh air. Unfortunately, the positive impression there also ends quite quickly.
The rooms in the main building seem disappointing and would need a renovation. Carpeted floors and visibly aged furnishings provide nostalgia rather than comfort – and not in the good sense.
The restaurant? Well, let's just say, okay, but hardly worth the price. Luckily, there are two good alternatives right next door. Breakfast is also only in solid midfield – nothing to talk about later.
The spa area, on the other hand, is quite tidy, with a Finnish sauna at 80 degrees and a steam bath – here you seem to meet at least some of your own standards.
On balance, however, the disappointment prevails. In this region, we have experienced much better accommodations – and without much searching.

Landhaus Lauble, a destination to return to!
Are you looking for a beautiful place to relax from the hectic pace of everyday life in a breathtaking setting? Landhaus Lauble in Hornberg, Fohrenbühl 65, 78132 Hornberg (Black Forest), offers just that! Forests, rugged hills, a wonderful stay with very friendly staff, well-kept rooms, a rich breakfast and a 4-course dinner (meat, fish or vegetarian) with well-matched portions, high-quality dishes beautifully presented. The Price quality ratio we found excellent.

This is a superb place to stay, especially with a dog. I traveled with a well-behaved 20 lb terrier, and the beds were comfortable, the water was hot and plentiful in the shower, and most of all, the grounds and proximity to hiking trails made it worthwhile. The food in the restaurant from breakfast to dinner was outstanding. I would come back here in a heartbeat.
Just one suggestion, my bathroom was a little cramped and I was really missing a full-length mirror somewhere in the room.
A very fine place to stay, it's nice when you can go somewhere that feels fancy but you don't constantly have to bite your nails about the cost. Everything was very reasonable, even the mini bar.

Perfect stay in the beautiful Black Forest
My stay at Country House Lauble was just fantastic! Already on arrival I was warmly welcomed by the owner, which immediately created a warm and welcoming atmosphere. My room was spotlessly clean and very stylishly decorated. Especially the super comfortable mattress provided a restful sleep, and the modern bathroom was spotlessly clean – just perfect!
I found the small extras in the room particularly pleasant, such as the tea utensils, which provided cosy moments. Television and the Internet worked perfectly, which is not a given these days. The sauna and steam bath were a wonderful addition to relax after a day in the beautiful surroundings of the Black Forest. The location of the hotel is simply picturesque – a place to breathe and unwind.
Another highlight was breakfast: an excellent selection of fresh, high-quality products. From delicious bacon and eggs to fresh bread rolls and aromatic coffee – everything is just right here! The value for money is absolutely reasonable and completes the perfect overall package.
I will definitely come back – the Landhaus Lauble is a real insider tip in the Black Forest!
