This was 1 nite stay only, though the facilites and grounds are nice. The bathrooms could use a little more lighting and rooms could use a little brightening up, though overall this place has all you need for staying in the area. I did experience a wondeful dinner close to the hotel,a nd the neighborhood is lovely. This is an ideal place for families and those alike looking to enjoy the area, which is very beautiful!

Super large and spacious room, very relaxed pool area
We stayed here for two nights to get out a little. We especially wanted to use the pool and sauna area. We had the pool almost to ourselves all day, but the sauna was always only turned on in the afternoon from 4 pm. The family room (we had the suite) was super large and spacious, that breakfast very varied. The hotel staff has always responded to requests and questions to make our stay as pleasant as possible.

Real experience! First read then (not) book!
Dear Bergmayr team, dear reader.
I have long struggled to make our negative experience public.
First impression: Outside/entrance area looks very unkempt. The whole place very busy / consumed compared to the pictures on the site. The hotel staff is very friendly.
In the family room it was very dirty on the floor and the bed was broken, but after complaint was cleaned and the bed repaired (better but not 100% good). That the TV does not work or the programs, we only realized later. Wi-Fi reception was also not good.
The pool was reserved all week at the normal times you would use with child (3J) because of an Aqua Fit group and then not allowed to use (only during the typical dining times the pool was free for a short time), which is really silly in bad weather with child, especially since that was a main reason to choose the hotel.
There is no bar etc. there is a hotel bar offered in another hotel, but if my child (3J) is already in bed and I might feel like n beer etc., I certainly don't want to leave the hotel...
The children's playroom is more like a toy dump, all defective, dirty, musty, dark, somehow Assi.
The gastronomy is a case in itself. Actually, the worst thing about the whole hotel.
It was noticeable that we were directly advised at check-in that the gastronomy is in the premises of the hotel, but is a separate company and has nothing to do with the actual hotel. The dining room resembles an unlovingly equipped multipurpose hall as it is known in the village as a gymnasium. Big, cold, uncomfortable. The staff don't speak a word of German and always bring in the head waiter if you have any questions. This is rough and super unfriendly and also speaks bad German. The food is not good. Starter (soup) and dessert at buffet, main course ala menu. It would be another text as long to go into the details of the meal. Unfortunately we had booked half board... The soups were always cold, we could watch the soups being emptied cold from a canister into the warming basins at the buffet. The desserts were still frozen. Here, they don't even bother to properly warm or thaw the finished products beforehand. The main courses were like a rest stop. -Bad. Unfortunately, the text here is limited and is now over. Sorry.

Perfectly located for hiking and swimming in the summer. The breakfast is amazing with such a wide choice. Very family friendly with attentive staff. Great to have on-site pool (although there are some amazing pools, one walking distance and a couple of others a short drive). Would highly recommend staying here.
