It’s the place I always stay in Jever. Reliable, clean, unpretentious, quiet, 10 mins walk to the centre of town

Lovely place to stay

Jever is my favourite beer (pilsner in German) in the whole whole. We were in Lower Saxony and decided to go there and stay the night. It was a good trip from where we were staying the previous night but well worth the drive.
Jever as a place is not visited by non-Germans which is a shame as it is a nice town to walk around. Another reason is probably also that there is little English spoken. However when we arrived we were greeted very professionally by the owner. She told us where to go and helped us with anything we needed. The room was large and very cosy. There is a place where you can read, talk or just have a drink. I especially liked the heating in the bathroom.
We had a very nice time in Jever. The next morning after a good sleep we woke up to a delicious breakfast buffet. Again the staff made sure we were welcoming and well stocked with coffee and food. Another good thing was the mini bar. Honesty pays in Germany. For a price of €1.50 you wrote down it on a piece of paper and got yourself a lovely beer.
One word of warning. This would not be a hotel in English terms but a B&B. There are only certain times this is open so if you are going to arrive late then please get in touch with the owner.

Alles wirklich sehr gut bis gut. Leider ist die Lage an der, auch Nachts, stark befahrenen Hauptstraße sehr laut. Dies gilt zumindest für unser Zimmer mit Fenster zur Strasse.
Wir würden dennoch wieder in dem Hotel buchen.

Das Hotel war einfach und für eine Übernachtung ganz ok. Das Frühstück war gering in der Auswahl, aber ausreichend. WLan hat prima funktioniert. Insgesamt hat es mehr von einer Pension, als einem Hotel.
