Thumbs up - gladly again.

During trade fair times, prices are relatively high even in this well-located hotel near the free university. The rooms are clean, the breakfast rich and the staff friendly. For only 4 euros you can park one night and the McDonalds just around the corner ensures that you don't have to starve. A clear recommendation on my part. The only criticism is the clear-heard walls. I have experienced many discussions in the neighbouring rooms and in the hallway that have literally robbed me of sleep - I would have preferred not to.

We were allocated rooms 122 and 120, which are very close to the reception and dining area. There was early noise from the restaurant and reception due to people moving around. The staff were a bit unfriendly, and it was difficult to communicate in English..

Would be worth a tip as it is quite convenient to visit Berlin from there even without a car, but it is unprofessionally run. The rooms are functionally furnished, worn out and especially the bathroom a reasonable requirement. Toilet seat discolored, fittings worn and dirty.
You want to save cleaning under the guise of environmental protection and that's how the rooms look. Even after three days no cleaning or fresh towels. Posted the “make clean” sign daily and it hasn’t even been cleaned. So spart man clever!
Baking rolls and ready-made scrambled eggs from the tin, you can make, but is not nice. The service runs around the room with a rag and just wipes the crumbs off the table, walks over chairs with it and tackles the fresh dishes with it as well. This is just disgusting and unprofessional.
The same yogurt cups were open for three days in the self-service counter and had already dried above. But a double megabahhh!
Add that breakfast is not included in the price, as is parking to the hotel for a fee. So the price seems to stay cheap, which in the end it is not.
Conclusion:
- unkempt
- not worth the price
- no second arrival imaginable
