An enjoyable evening with great service

We were in the restaurant of Villa Hammerschmiede yesterday. For many years we have not visited the house and drive pleasantly surprised. Ambience, very nice. A top service. And the food was fantastic. In any case, we weren't there for the last time.

Nice evening with my wife with good food

In the restaurant of Villa Hammerschmiede I ate very well with my wife. Maybe it was the best fillet steak of our lives. The service was very attentive. The starter and dessert maybe a little too little on the plate. Price are at fine dining level. But there is still a lot missing for fine dining. Nevertheless, a nice evening in a great ambience.

Very, very tired

Very tired room, ripped upholstery, seriously stained furniture and carpets, black rust coming from bathroom pipes. It looks like it hasn’t been decorated in many decades, it really needs to be redone. The service was friendly, the food was good, but the place is seriously let down by the terrible state of the rooms and decor. Outrageous given the price of a room.

Quiet romantic hotel

We stayed at this hotel for the third time. We enjoyed the very tasty four course menu and the fantastic breakfast. The room large and comfortably furnished with two small balconies facing the forest. Very friendly staff at check in and out, as well as in the cozy restaurant. We enjoyed staying in the parlors for dinner.
Underground parking was also available.
Hotel is very nicely located in a park and you can take extended walks with the dog.
Little drawback: Dog costs 25,-€ a day and there was neither a blanket nor a bowl.
We will definitely come back if we want to be pampered culinary and enjoy the peace and quiet.
