First choice (sauna)

We were day guests in the sauna and can only recommend this. It almost doesn't get any better, loving, high-quality and detail-obsessed furnishings, everything you need for saunas, super natural pond and especially the sauna attendant Maximilian, who really has everything under control. Reception, drinks bar, food, infusions, fireplace........respect, for this work elsewhere 3 workers are "needed". Thumbs up!

We booked Landhotel Gut Wildberg because it advertised a spa with saunas, wellness treatments, a swimming pool, and a children's pool. Unfortunately, the reality was completely different.
After a 6-hour drive, the last 3 km were on broken roads with a 30 km/h limit. The hotel looked more like an old barn than a wellness hotel.
Check-in was rushed, with little information. Our room was in a barn-like building with narrow stairs and no elevator.
When we asked about the sauna, reception was empty. After ringing the bell, a waiter came from the restaurant, chuckled at our question in a disrespectful way, and told us the sauna only opens one day a week. This was never mentioned when booking.
The pool contained large fish and flies, and there was no children's pool despite it being advertised.
The next morning we asked to leave early because the hotel did not match its description. Reception first wanted us to pay for the entire stay, but the manager apologized, acknowledged the misunderstanding, and agreed we only pay for the one night we stayed. He was the only positive part of our visit.
When we checked out at around 09:00, the entire building had lost power.
The advertising is misleading, several promised facilities were unavailable, and parts of the staff need much better customer service. One of the most disappointing hotel stays I have experienced.

Pure relaxation

We were guests at Gut Wildberg from 29.03.26 to 02.04.26. In the lovingly furnished spacious family room, which is equipped with 2 separate bedrooms, a bathroom with natural light, living room with dining area and even a small kitchen we could feel completely comfortable. The room was impeccably clean, the beds comfortable and it was very quiet. Which we really enjoyed. Also our little fur nose was very welcome. The environment is very nice. Everything is also available for the physical well-being and directly on site. Starting with an appealing breakfast, desserts, to dinner in the cosy restaurant, there are delicious food and drinks. The service is excellent. Greetings to Simi and Joschi.
We had a great time with you and would love to come back.

Pure relaxation!

A completely successful stay at the Hotel Wildberg! The quiet location in the middle of nature is fantastic – perfect for switching off. The rooms are very quiet, we slept wonderfully in the beds. Especially beautiful is the lovingly maintained outdoor area, ideal for relaxing. The food was also very good, and the entire staff was extremely friendly and helpful. We felt completely comfortable and would love to come back. Thanks for the great time!

I booked this hotel during the race of Motogp
even if it is 45 minutes from the circuit, it is really good to stay here to relax.
Nice restaurant, Nice extra service like a small lake to swin and children park
