Friendly staff
The first impression of the hotel is good. The entrance area is rustic and nicely designed.
Unfortunately, the rooms are not so welcoming.
As you know, taste can be disputed, so my opinion here is subjective. For me, the decor could have been better coordinated.
However, the objective is that the furniture belongs partially replaced.
In room ten there was also unfortunately an unpleasant smell reminiscent of sewage. The hotel staff takes care of it immediately after the WE.
Otherwise, the rooms (nine and ten) were not optimally cleaned.
Hair was in the bathroom, a wet towel was in the shower, little spiders in the corners on the walls.
Breakfast had a selection of cheese, sausage, yoghurt, homemade cereal, rolls, croissant and bread, orange juice, various jams and coffee at the table. In addition, coffee specialties could be ordered.
All in all, the breakfast was satisfactory and the Service was also very friendly here.
If the theme is fixed with the rooms, this hotel is a good alternative to the expensive ones in the area.

one advertises with false images on the website
There are no rooms advertised on the Internet in the hotel.
Look at the website and look at my pictures.
We booked a double room. On arrival we received a room in the annexe under roof no. 29 with extremely low ceiling height. Extremely hot and stuffy. Simple inventory. Bed with sagging mattresses, torn and crumpled curtains. For this we should pay 131,- € per night. After complaint we were offered room 23 in the same house. What we found was identical to the previous room plus the curtain torn down. After further complaint we were shown two other rooms in the main house. Room 10 above a garage roof with the same equipment and worn out. The last free room with the number 1 had no window at all in the sleeping area, the small window in the entrance area again had torn curtains, squeaky beds (slatted frames), simple equipment and totally stuffy, through the small window. Bathroom not renovated with high entry to the shower which was so narrow that you could hardly turn.
The pictures on the website pretend modern, bright and renovated rooms with great facilities, renovated bathroom and walk-in shower. We found none of it in all 4 rooms. Not to mention the cleanliness. Cobwebs, smeared walls, dust everywhere.
The sheets and sheets had holes.
At the reception they told us not to make the prices and all the rooms would be the same.
This is an imposition and rip-off for the guests.
We will also report this to the tourist board.
But the highlight was that we were not told that there is only one room key and none for the main door to the reception. After 10 p.m., the main door is locked. When we got back to the hotel after 10 p.m., we stood in front of the locked door and couldn't get in, because there was no one left in the hotel at the reception or the restaurant.
Luckily, my husband went around the house and happened to find an open window in the staircase, otherwise we would have had to sleep in the car. We literally stood in the rain, because it really was still raining heavily in this afterlife.
Stay away from this hotel!
Breakfast was fine so far. But also nothing special for the high overnight price. Little choice.
2 types of cheese and 3 types of sausage. Scrambled eggs and boiled egg, cereal and yogurt in cups.
Location & surroundings
In a residential area to the right of Koblenz.
You already need a car to get from there to the city.
But quiet at night.

Everything is fine
- the blonde, elderly lady at the reception who also works in service is one of the most sympathetic hotel professionals I have ever seen
- Cleanliness of the room and the house (I had room 27) This is what "cleanliness" must look like!!! Thanks to the maid who changed my towels daily and made my bed cozy and loving every day.
- the food is excellent
- Owner very guest oriented
- the hotel has a swimming pool
Bad:
- partly bad-tempered, frantic-looking employees
- you smell the smoke corners
Otherwise everything was really great. I will gladly come back and will recommend the place!
