Historic and pleasant hotel in Kochelsee

Beautiful historic hotel with frescoes on the facade but also interiors with valuable centuries-old wooden structures.
The owners are friendly enough and the apartment they assigned us on the second floor of an adjacent building with a beautiful view of the countryside is beautiful.
A more than abundant and varied breakfast (perhaps some hot options were missing) in a truly characteristic place due to the abundance of paintings both on the walls and on the ceiling.
Comfortable apartment, sufficient bathroom (shower bath insufficient, shampoo absent).
Excellent internal parking.
Fair price.
Overall a pleasant holiday

Once and never again

One of the dirtiest and run-down hotels I've been to so far...we left after we've seen the rooms...dining in the room had been moldy from the predecessor for days on the table...in the other room shown first the heating had to be turned up... dirt everywhere...dust where you only look..whoever stays there and spends money is no longer helped...

NEVER NEVER NEVER AGAIN

There was an older woman when we arrived. She was in charge, she was extremely rude and unprofessional. We had booked 2 nights months ago. The beds had no sheets and in general the room looked unprepared. The room was maybe OK 30 years ago. We can not recommend this hotel and the staff there. You don't even want to be hanging dead from the fence!!
We saved up for a long time to do a trip thru Austria and Bavaria, that was by far the worst experience.

NO longer

we agree with the review of Thomas C. Pils 100%.
The rooms are totally outdated at the windows were cobwebs and in the corners was the dirt!. We arrived on Sunday and on Thursday I asked in writing to clean the sink and the toilet! The beds were not made for that!
So not with us anymore!!!

Outdated hotel, partly dirty, dilapidated, and with disastrous service!

Hotel overnight stay + dinner.
After arriving, I politely told the manager that the TV in room 11 wasn't working, but he shrugged his shoulders and did NOT do anything. As a guest, I had to completely reconfigure the TV myself!
Martina (presumably the manager) serves and takes orders outside with the charm of a half-awake bulldog.
Food was delivered incorrectly, noticed too late in conversation with a fellow traveler (schnitzel instead of cordon bleu) and not complained about because of the mistake. Quality was mediocre; ordered side salad was tasty.
Guests have to collect their own breakfast, including plates, cutlery and coffee, and also "fight" for a place in different rooms.
The buildings/rooms are estimated to have had their best days 30 years ago; "charm" of the 60s/70s. Partially dirty carpets in the corridors, construction site in front of room 11 with an open wall and a cupboard in the middle of the corridor. Glass/metal doors in front of corridors without door brakes close with a deafening noise.
Bathroom in room 11 with a broken bathroom window that cannot be opened and a broken room window that can only be opened completely.
Water pressure in shower (in bathtub) suggests that showering is to be avoided as much as possible. Lighting in room 11 with an estimated 25 watt bulb in the "pitch black" range; 2nd lamp next to bathroom mirror does not work at all.
Overall impression of building: Ancient and pitiful! Unfortunately also partially dirty! The smells of the ancient interior make me feel disgusted...
And a lack of service awareness is completely unacceptable!!!
