Nice hotel if a little tired, as an old building, but still very clean . Comfortable room, friendly staff, nice breakfast and eat to park. Tram stop right outside and nice restaurants nearby too. We didn’t eat in the hotel restaurant but the food looked good

Too bad the service has become less.

Been here before and it was always good but this was the last time. Rooms are only cleaned on request. Towels and toilet paper must be collected at the reception. This was not told at check-in. Room air conditioning is not working. Staff are friendly and breakfast is adequate. Paid parking 11 euros per day, but on the street in front of the hotel you can park for free.

Nice hotel - large room

We arrived late in the evening - about 21:00. Our assigned room was extremely nice with plenty of space.
Dinner was really excellent - and despite the late hour it was still warm.
There was nothing to complain about

Not worth repeating.

The hotel has expired. Has had his glory time. Very dated. That can be very charming if you like it.
Deterioration is lurking. Also the garden.
Pros:
- It is clean. The rooms are tidy.
- Breakfast is more than adequate and tasty.
It is well supplemented. Dinner is good but too expensive!
- Beautiful surrounding towns. Dusseldorf is beautiful to see.
- There are activities in the area to do. Mini golf, bowling, zoo etc.
But for 4 days at most.
Cons:
- On Sundays the rooms are NOT cleaned. So no towels either. You have to pick it up yourself at reception.
- The staff is not really friendly. Clearly they don't enjoy their job. You don't really feel welcome. Not guest friendly.
- Before 18:00 there is nothing to get in the hotel. No coffee, drinks, lunch etc. The restaurant is closed. The restaurant/terrace closes at 22:00/ 22:30. You'll be looked away.
- The prices in the hotel are EXPENSIVE.
In the restaurant you pay the top price. Better to eat and drink elsewhere.
- You have to pay for parking. €6 per day! Shameful for such a place!
- The mattress is moderate. The pillows are terrible!
- The pool is empty. Worn down.
- There is little to do in the town of Krefeld. It's kind of a suburb of the bigger cities. Shabby and lots of bums.
- After 4 days you have seen it there.
It's not cozy in the hotel. It's big and quiet because it's not crowded either. It's more like a transit hotel. A lot of business and the hotel is used to celebrate the holiday from there every day elsewhere. In this case, the prices they charge are far too expensive.
Conclusion:
Not worth repeating.
Useful as a transit hotel for further entertainment in other places.

Never again!

What a mockery! If you book with a site, it does not say that you have to pay €11 per day parking! Is also not guarded.Welcome drink is a bottom of wine. Just a wine costs €8.50 white and red €9.50 each! And take tips themselves, without anything being said. A rip-off! You can't get anything during the day until after 6pm! It sucks! At the reception is a bald man, who is really not customer friendly! Hotel is dated! Breakfast is also little to nothing.
