Great friendly staff and superb location (with payable parking but you may need to book in advance). Rooms are a little dated and comfort rooms quite small, double bed is two single matressses which is a bit odd and it does close up at 9pm, though thats not a problem especially as there are plenty of bars etc. close by. All that said really good value and worth the price paid, and thanks to the nice people.

Relying on commitment - stuck on costs in the end

Please do not book at this hotel!!!
Relying on commitment – stuck on the costs in the end.
Due to an emergency we were unable to start our booked overnight stay. An employee promised us by phone that we could postpone the stay we had already paid for – that was the statement we relied on. In hindsight, the hotel did not want to know about this anymore, as the employee is no longer working at the company due to irregularities. Had we not received this commitment, we would have found another solution in time.
For us, the impression remains that here the customer has to end up paying the consequences of a mistake by the hotel. It’s a shame – that’s not how you imagine customer service.
What is particularly disappointing is that there has been no reaction at all to our latest news.
Especially in such situations it shows how customer-oriented this hotel really is.

Once and never again!

Proper rip-off, for breakfast from outside we had to pay per person 25,- €. Breakfast was really bad. Buns from the day before. Salmon and cheese already dried. The egg yolk for the scrambled eggs came from the tetrapack - really icky!

Staff were very helpful and courteous. The hotel is beautifully presented and is in an excellent position within the town.
