Spotlessly clean, a beautiful Bavarian Hotel!
The room was a single but not very romantic but I suppose as an elderly solo traveller, romance was not on the cards.
The room however, was spotless with a comfortable single bed tucked against the wall. Personally, I would prefer to be able to walk around the bed but limited space meant this was not possible.
The ensuite is small, no window but absolutely fine for one person. Quality shower fittings with a powerful water pressure. I had my own toiletries but liquid soap and body wash was available, as well as other traveler's items such as a sewing kit, hairdryer…
Plenty electric sockets in the room and one on the wall behind the bed, so remember to take an adapter.
A minibar is located under the desk. Free WIFI.
Frau Greul and staff were very helpful and friendly, I would imagine they would have things travellers might forget.
Breakfast had a limited choice but was very healthy, with many homemade products . I suggest getting there early. I arrived at 08:30h and all the Brezen were gone.
There is a restaurant but it’s only open on select days, so I advise checking if you want to dine. I have dined in the restaurant prior to this visit and it is excellent but pricey.
The town is ten minutes walk away on the flat. Landshut is beautiful and there is plenty to see and do. Would recommend Kathy’s steak house
The hotel has a rear entrance from the carpark. There is a charging point for electric vehicles but I don’t know if there are charges.
The hotel is not suitable for wheelchair users because there is no lift. I have mobility issues but can climb a flight of stairs. I emailed ahead to ensure a room on the first floor.
There is a sitting area next to the reception and another in the conservatory .
This is a period property with beautiful antique furniture and artifacts..A wonderful staircase greets you on entering the hotel, so don’t forget to take a photo.
For the price I paid, I cannot fault this hotel and can highly recommend it.

A romantic charming hotel that is nestled in a lovely town with a rich history a great place to stop or enjoy or relax.
The hotel is in a very old building and had the authentic feel and has the authentic charm of this era. It was very quiet and comfortable and not to detract from the great review I want to mention that old buildings from this era have no lifts and are not handicap accessible which is normal for most of Europe.
