Very interesting, lovingly run house with a harmonious architecture between old and new
A hotel run with a lot of love with a very arranged young team. The building, which is several hundred years old, has been so well designed architecturally that the fittings and modifications for the hotel operation integrated very well and hardly violate the character of the originality. In addition, there is the totally quiet location directly overlooking Lake Constance and the Säntis mountain in Switzerland.
The next surprise will be in the morning. A great, lovingly arranged breakfast buffet leaves nothing to be desired. Here, too, the team is present to fulfill additional requests or to provide advice on excursions and means of transport.

A gem on Lake Constance to feel good about.
Beautiful, small, owner run hotel in a perfectly restored historic building.
Very quiet yet close to the lake shore, the hotel is a real oasis of well-being. SUP boards are provided free of charge to sporting guests.
Very friendly and helpful hosts and an exceptionally nicely put together breakfast buffet with regional, high-quality products completed our experience. Also the free parking on the hotel premises.

Excellent staff, location, breakfast, and hospitality!
This hotel is perfect for your family or a couples getaway! It is directly in front of the lake, where you could see swimmers jumping in everyday. There is a park right in front of the hotel that is perfect for the little ones. On site, there are cute games that kept my 2 year old busy while we had drinks or snacks in the outdoor seating area: ping pong, soccer balls, etc. There is a separate grassy seating area with a large swing for 2 adults, lounge chairs with umbrellas where you can relax with a drink or snack. They have paddle boards and life vests available to take to the lake if you wish. This place was relaxation at it's finest! The two brothers who own the property are beyond amazing! I cannot say enough good things about them. They are always available and willing to help. They were so kind and accommodating. Anything we asked or asked for, they provided! I would highly recommend staying at their place! The breakfast was set up so beautifully. They had a variety of good foods everyday and had bacon and eggs available to order. The location in this town was amazing! Other larger cities around the lake are very touristy. This location was quaint and relaxing, with plenty of restaurants and sites to see, but not overcrowded. It was also easy access to take the ferry boat or train to other cities around the lake.

Absolute Gem!
Superb, an absolute gem! Belated birthday treat from my partner, we arrived here for one night in October, just before they closed for the season. Free parking on-site and a couple of EV charging points as well.
The building was originally built in 1590 and has so much charm and character...
Charming welcome and shown to a stunning two-storey room high up on 2nd and 3rd floors, away from the lakeside so exceptionally quiet. All the rooms have names but I can't remember ours, it was number 12... you enter a large open space with kitchen corner, toilet (painted black) with pine wood wash basin, dining table, single sofas that can fold out or be moved around to make extra day beds or let you watch the tv. Upstairs (rather steep) to a double bed and gorgeous pine wood bath tub as well as an extra single bed in a corner, all of this in excellent quality and condition.
They don't serve evening meals so that's a separate restaurant review...
Breakfast is a beautifully presented and very generous buffet with cooked items to order. Suffice to say we left happy...

Great location, and a welcoming family
Great location and a very friendly and welcoming family. The breakfast buffet was extremely good. Spoke perfect English and could not do enough for you. No restaurant but plenty of choice locally. We had a balcony which was a good size. Free onsiite parking. Would definitely use this hotel again if travelling in the area.
