Private at the Swiss border

Nice hotel with very hospitable staff. Owner just as very nice and attentive. Checking in and out was quite easy.
Room spacious and clean. Room equipped with shower and TV. Very good value for money.

To the rescue!

After a long day of riding the beautiful Black Forest road (or Schwarzwaldhochstraße) from Heidelberg we stopped in Lauchringen for lodging (couldn't make our final destination that day). We did not have a reservation and all of the rooms in the border town were either too expensive or booked. A very nice local woman noticed we had our laptop opened and asked us if we needed any help. After explaining to her we were in need of a room for the night, she recommended the Gartenhotel Feldeck.
When we arrived at the hotel the owner greeted us and without hesitation invited us to use his garage for storing our motorcycles overnight. He did not have to do this so we were very appreciative of his thoughtfulness. After we checked in and unloaded the panniers, the staff served us a wonderful meal on the patio. The food was awesome as well as the ambiance.
The hotel, room and restaurant were clean with a very professional and friendly staff during our stay. The local towns people were all friendly and helpful. We still love to tell this story to those here at home. We will stay there again next time we are riding through the Black Forest.

Freundliches sauberes Familienhotel

Es ist ein schönes und sehr sauberes Familienhotel. Das Abendessen wie auch das Frühstück waren sehr lecker und eine gute Auswahl stand zur Verfügung. Die Zimmer und allgemein das Hitel waren sehr sauber und die Gasrgeberfamilie sowie die Angestellten sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Der Pool war für meine Kinder das Highlight. Der Wellnessbereich war ebenfalls sehr sauber. Der Gartenbist wunderschön. Wir würden jederzeit wieder gehen. Vielen Dank.

Très belle Hôtel
une immense Terrace et un très grand jardin
Piscine intérieur et sauna compris dan le prix
personnelle très agréable
Bonne cuisine on mange très bien et pas chère ;-)
choisir les chambres sur le côté arrière et pas côté route trop bruitent

Zimmer Flop

Hatten ein Zimmer zur viel befahrenen Straße - Fenster offen ging nicht - zu war eine Qual, da auch keine Klima vorhanden. Die Ausstattung des Zimmers ehr aus den 70er Jahren - fleckiger Teppich. Ohne den Pool und die Gartenanlage hinter dem Haus wäre nur ein Stern herausgesprungen.
