Perfect hotel in Lauterbach

Centrally located in Lauterbach, short walk to the romantic old town with quaint pubs.
Room very good, fridge (top, not everywhere in Germany anymore). Nice service, parking in front of the house, very good breakfast.

A 4-star hotel that unfortunately does not meet all expectations.

From the balcony to Kanalstraße (Entenbach), one looks out over the Lauter and hears the river babbling. Room 21 is pleasantly large, beds excellent, parking available in front of the house. An additional towel in front of the shower upon request. Room cleaning only every 2 days, but then completely fine. Food is good to very good, but there is a very limited selection. Despite a one-week stay, there was no welcome from the owners, which is very unfortunate. Reordering side dishes was charged at a proud price of 2.50, which is not acceptable. Outdoor dining is only very limited (orders at lunchtime are only possible until 1:00 PM).

Disappointing breakfast

It is a hotel for early risers, because at 9.15am the breakfast buffet offered a sad sight with miserable leftovers.We consoled ourselves with fried eggs, which were very delicious.This does not meet the usual standard of a romantic hotel.

Wonderful 4-course menu..

My wife and I had booked an arrangement with 4 course menu and Ü. /F.
Very nice presentation of the courses, very tasteful and high quality food.
Friendly service all around! The cosy ambience of the not too big Schuberts restaurant is also right!
Breakfast everything you need incl. bakery rolls in cozy room with view to the old town!
The location of the romantic hotel is quiet but very close to the pretty city center!
Perhaps the hotel in the hallways will do some good with some new carpeting that is very old..!

Nice hotel in the city centre

Nice hotel in a nice old building, which is centrally located in the city. Parking is available directly outside the hotel for a fee. There is a limited number of seats.
The room was large and spacious with a small seating arrangement (chairs and table). There was also a minibar. The bed was very comfortable.
The room had a large bathroom with good laying space.
The cleaning was fine.
The city is not huge, but there is a chance to walk along the canal with many beautiful old houses.
Remember to order table at the restaurant, which is super good. There is a limited number of dining options in the city.
