Good but still "but" moderately positive
However there is a BUT..
The focus is really on senior people (say 65+) and less on families. Men do their best (TUI kids club) but the vast majority are just "older".
Tip; I had a half board arrangement, but there was no possibility to put drinks etc. on the account. Since the default formula is "all inclusive," you notice in many that it is not designed for half board. Hassle with payments, (relative) unfamiliarity with card payments, staff under stress.
But I'm still a fan of Ban Eurostrand; I'll only be back in 10-15 years.

Fine stay with some areas for improvement
We found the drinking policy very unclear. For a carafe of water €5 per person is charged and also soft drinks, beer, wine and coffee / tea are charged hospitality prices. It was only on the last night that we were told that a separate drink formula is available for this.
There are coffee and tea machines at the buffet. During breakfast you can use this, but in the evening this is put on the bill without clear warning. This is not indicated at the reception, buffet or vending machines. You logically assume that you can just use these machines. A simple sign saying that coffee and tea are not included in the evening would avoid many misunderstandings.
In addition, we find it strange that you pay for coffee / tea that you get yourself and tap, without service or extra service that you get with water, soft drinks and alcohol.
During our stay it was very hot. Especially on such days you can expect to respond to this. However, there was no air conditioning or fan present, either in the cottages or in the dining room, making it very stuffy inside. Fans in the dining room and perhaps umbrellas at the cottages would already make a big difference.
We want to conclude on a positive note with the fact that the food was otherwise fine. The manager of the hospitality industry was also very friendly, helpful and service-oriented. We really appreciated that.

Disappointing ,after years of satisfaction
It started on the party train.
350 passengers and only 1 dance car!!!
We boarded in Hamm (which is very early) and there was no way through to the dance compartment.
For about 20 years we have been going to the Eurostrand (often even twice a year) and drinking only Havana club with Coke.
If you pay a lot of money for a WE, then you want to drink what you like best.
Now we arrive on Friday and are told at the counter that Havana no longer exists.
Simply removed from the drinks list!
Sad and disappointing at the same time , because you just reacted with a shrug when asked , although according to the drinks menu there is still Havana.
For this reason, we will now cancel our already booked trip for 10/2026.
