Friendly staff and cheerful atmosphere were very good. It is a small hotel and does not seem to have a lift. The wifi environment was so comfortable that there is nothing to say. The keys are age-old and a bit tricky. But this was not a problem either. We were impressed with the shower that didn't leak outside.
There is a restaurant attached and we enjoyed good German food, beer and wine. We were very happy as we wanted to eat local food. The atmosphere was bright but not flamboyant and very relaxing.
The breakfast was also well stocked for me. The bread was delicious. I would stay at this hotel again when travelling in West Germany.

Gladly again!

Very nice staff/owner! We'll be back! The half board is highly recommended, the food is very, very tasty. Our room was very clean and functional and was cleaned daily. The TV worked perfectly (which we had problems with in other accommodations...) only improvement: it would be nice if there was a small fridge in the room

A pleasent stay

I was tired and wore out and desperate to find a place to crash and relax. Finally found a place, The Langen Hotel. The place and my room were nice and clean, although the room was a little small for the room rate of $50 Euros, and I was still a little too far away from the wine country. But it was comfortable and I had a good nights rest. More about the restaurant in that review following this one. Everything seemed new in the lodging area.

very good hotel

I stayed in this hotel as a part of a completely organised motorweekend. The room was very nice and tidy, with a basic but very clean bathroom. Only downside to the room was the poor soundproofing, i could hear the neighboring guests talk and sneeze.
The food was very good and the portions were as one could expect in Germany : more then enough. The staff was very polite. And as a bonus : they even provide a closed-off place for motorcycles.
Overall a very good experience, this is a hotel I will propose to my club for one of the upcoming clubweekends in the years to come.

Nice stay at Hotel Langen

Very friendly owner, she gives you a warm welcome and makes sure your stay is pleasant. We had an apartment in the main building, and though the train is right behind the building, its noise didn't disturb our sleep. The furniture were simple but nice, and the kitchen was well-stocked. The apartment is perfect for couples with children, since it has two rooms and plenty of space for four people. The kitchen appliances and tv seemed to be very recent. We booked it with breakfast and dinner, which were both very good. The breakfast was simple but has plenty of options, and the three course dinner, for which you can choose between two options, is tasty and typical German. We loved staying here and we would certainly come back if were were traveling to this region again.
