This 4-star hotel is right next to the Spreeweltenbad water park and offers free admission to it for all guests. Guests there have the opportunity to swim close to penguins only separated by a glass panel, and to learn about the animals.

We will definitely come back!
The apartments are a good size. There were two of us there, but even with children you would have enough space and storage space.
We had a room on the ground floor with huge terrace and sunrise from the very comfortable bed.
Highlight for children are of course the bunk beds.
Perfect also the kitchenette to feed yourself.
We booked the dinner buffet.
You already know in advance what will be there. Although we were on site in the off-season and only three tables were occupied, the full buffet was there. A very nice selection, high quality and first class in taste.
Drinks are included in the price.
A bathrobe passageway leads to the penguin bath. Bathrobes and towels are provided in the rooms.
The penguin feeding is not to be missed. Highlights are of course the small tailcoats, which can be observed both from the outdoor pool and from the inside.
The wave pool, the flow channel, the thermal pool bring a lot of joy.
We arrived easily by public transport. There is a bus from the station.

Nice stay, especially for families, although a bit too pricey for what was offered, and service was not great.
- Rooms are spacious, good for families. Nothing fancy though.
- The saunas are nice and so is the swimming area.
- The food was good but definitely too epensive for what it was (especially dinner)
-The hotel is in walking distance from the station.
- What we disliked most was the service throughout the hotel, the restaurant and the swimming area, where most staff was rather unfriendly, not giving the treatment I would expect for a over 300 Euro price for two persons per night.

Good facilities and design, gastronomy disappointing
The apartment was spacious, well equipped and tastefully decorated. Mosquito repellent on the balcony door. TV with media library.
The reception was friendly and professional. The entire payment and access process is done by chip.
The gatronomy at the hotel was a single disappointment and by no means on **** but ** star level. TK fried eggs (must have seen but not eaten), ice-cold breakfast eggs, as cereals there was nothing unsweetened (e.g. oatmeal or flakes, no grains (e.g. linseed - Spreewald?), the selection was otherwise good.
We had breakfast 3x at 07:30 - on 2 days no wholemeal bread was available. One day the coffee from the pot was lukewarm. Luckily, there's a vending machine. No high-quality juices.
We attended the evening buffet one day.
The roast beef was tough (not cooked long enough or low-quality meat), the pork steak was cooked too long, so it was also tough and dry. Good thing there was chicken fillet with cornflake crust. 1 drink was included in the price.
The motivation of the staff has room for improvement.
We have already stayed several times with the competitor in Burg, almost the same price level (overnight - breakfast). Here in the gastronomy worlds lie between what we were "offered" here.
For us definitely on the next Spreewald visit the 22 KM onward drive to Burg.

Very nice hotel, spa access, value for money Very good
Clean rooms! Coffe&Tea bar, free water, great gifts (cucumbers, horseradish). Breakfast Good. Friendly staff.
Free parking, Direct access to the Spreewaldtherme and the very nice sauna area.
Con:
We have nothing to complain about.
Conclusion:
Clear Recommendation. We will definitely come back.
