Small and quite cozy
We spent a night at the house. Super nice welcome, it was taken time for us. We liked the decor very much. The room was quite small but lovingly decorated and very clean. Great was the proximity to the beach and port where we could eat great fish. At breakfast there was absolutely nothing to complain about, we lacked nothing, the selection was absolutely sufficient and appealing. We will definitely come back!

Unfortunately not satisfied
Unfortunately, I cannot share the good rating of some guests...
The house and the location and the path to the beach were actually good...
The rooms I had a single room much too small ... The mattress was worn out...The pillow lumpy....The bathroom also very small could barely move....I would describe the breakfast as normal...What I found embarrassing were the cheap par-baked rolls on the 2nd day....
For 150€ a night I would have expected more...The offered minibar in the room no longer existed or the small refrigerator was defective....But it was still offered in the booking...The staff also not very friendly...
Yes a pity because the house and the small garden were actually very appealing......
For the money I would not book there again

Not friendly service
Unfortunately my experience with this hotel was completely not good, I had a reservation but time for check in is until 8 pm, I tried to call and sent messages but I had not response, I was late 20 min due to a delay (ferry from Sweden) and I only found a hotel with a close door and lights off, clearly they do not care about their guests. I understand I was late, but this can happens to everybody, 20 min late, they should have friendly options for this kind of situations, and not leave you on the street without accommodation.

Not a hotel but a guesthouse with too high prices
The Landhaus Bode is a friendly, clean guesthouse but not a hotel.
The location is good and quiet on a street with little traffic.
The breakfast room is attractive and spacious, and the breakfast just about meets modest expectations. The service is generally friendly, even if it consists essentially of a single, frequently changing person.
Two things are not really enough for a good rating.
We had a room with a balcony, which is nice in itself, but the room is not only tiny but also very sparsely furnished. The bathroom is extremely small, the sink so small that it is difficult to wash your hands without flooding the floor.
It is particularly difficult to understand the fact that the guesthouse closes at 9:30 p.m. There is then no longer a lounge because that is also locked. The only entrance and exit from 9:30 p.m. is in the far back part of the building, which can be reached via a not very well-lit parking lot. From 9:30 p.m. onwards you either have to spend a cosy evening outside on garden chairs without cushions (which are also locked at this time), without service and without lighting that makes reading possible, or "enjoy" the TV in bed, which is mounted quite high. I doubt whether the "locking rule" for all but one door in the entire hotel meets general safety standards.
All this for the price of just under €200.00 per night including breakfast. For almost the same price (€219.00) you can stay in a very comfortable hotel on the promenade, which has a swimming pool, wellness, service and a lounge for its guests in a room with armchairs, reading lamp, bathroom with bathtub, etc.

Great place and location
Lovely place .. heritage house giving colonial feel... Very close (walking distance) to the beach and the promenade. Family loved it! Stayed two nights with our three kids and four grandkids! (Understandably, not wheelchair friendly, though)
