Convenient for public transport

We had a 4 nights stay in this hotel in a business twin on floor 7.
No nice views but it was convenient for getting the bus or tram nearly at the door.
Air con. worked well as did the fridge.
We didn’t want our room serviced. If you do, you must put in a request before 10am.
I asked reception for more towels and they were delivered later that day.
Breakfast was good and items replenished regularly.
Reception staff were nice.
The not so good things about this hotel :
The pillows actually stink! As do the quilts!
It’s time they were replaced.
The beds are very low and not so great either - time to replace.
The towels are useless - far too small and well worn.
Check in took far too long. I just wanted to go to my room, but the process took ages.
Why can’t they do online check in so we don’t have to fill in all the details at a temporary reception table

Great location, friendly, clean, air-conditioned, everything nearby - highly recommended!

...Mega heat weekend; but everything worked out; the stay at the hotel was top-notch, clean, air-conditioned, and friendly. Breakfast was perfectly fine and available until 11 AM on weekends, which is sufficiently long.
The location of the IC Hotel MZ is perfect; three minutes from the main train station; public transport connection right in front of the entrance (bus and train; S-Bahn via main station)... the city center and Rhine waterfront are reachable on foot in 15-20 minutes, with many dining options available there, and the rest is accessible by public transport. As an HRewards member, a combined card per person and stay is included, which makes the overall offer even more attractive. Oh yes: the municipal indoor and outdoor pool (Taubertsberg Bad) including spa is also just around the corner!
...so gladly again - a clear recommendation!

Great location - central - everything is within walking distance.

Everything was top-notch - breakfast was very good - only the entrance area/renovation was not previously reported, and the check-in process was somewhat lengthy.

This is a hotel that does not provide anything amazing but neither does not disappoint you. Best part of the hotel is definitely the location - right next to Hauptbahnhof and within walking distance from the city center. Room was clean and sufficiently spacious. Air conditioning was working but was barely keeping the room cool during the night. Good, basic breakfast. Reception seemed quite crowded all the time, it is a good idea to do the check-in in advance online. Overall it was a good stay, would consider going there again when going to Mainz next time.

The lady said my room was ready..so i got to check in early..large room with a fridge...no kettle.. which is common in europe..... 5 min walk from the train station..but quiet. Clean, comfortable
