Great location, convenient parking, walking distance to the center of town. The train station is a few steps away. Food supermarket is 2 minutes away.

Good but not TOP

I visited beautiful Mainz for a business trip and I preferred to stay centrally. After a short research I chose TOP Hotel Hammer for the good reviews and the location exactly opposite the Hbf. The first negative thing was that the web
site had no English option (currently added).
The location is great - the Hbf is exactly opposite and to get to the center is a pleasant 10' walk. My room was small but comfortable. The staff very helpful.
The other negative thing was the price: I considered it very expensive for Mainz in January without breakfast (which was expensive also since I tried it once).
However if I visit Mainz again it would be my first option again.

Location close to the train station was excellent, the room was clean and most importantly with the heatwave the AC was the best we’ve ever experienced in Europe. The staff was excellent, early check-in and was extremely helpful.

Easy to find, right in front of train station.
Great place would stay again for sure. Bar, restaurant, all great. Really liked this place good value.
