I booked this hotel for the swimming pool and they told me at the reception that’s 10€ for 1 hour , I ask facture they don’t give me facture , and they give me invoice with an other price minder that what I ve paid

Worse always goes

The hotel and rooms are a single disaster. Our assigned room had a shower, but all the silicone seals and shower curtain were black with mold. The room was brooding warm 28 degrees, no air conditioning.
The next room offered to us under the roof, 3 floor was bigger above the heat was unbearable. At 33 degrees, sleep was unthinkable. With the door open, a little draught, that's it. Showers in the bathtub with spray head in hand. Smooth tub, a mat very dangerous with 80% obstruction. There was a swimming pool in the basement. We were allowed to use the shower for this. Like a construction site. The shower head also had to be held in the hand. In the basement was also a toilet without paper. Also remembering the staff several times, no paper. A typical hotel, but don't collect anything investing. Breakfast was ok for this place. Terrible. Unfortunately, I didn't take photos, mobile is my enemy, can't cope.

Not worth a star

Such a run-down hotel, dirty and very outdated, not recommended, breakfast was very good, staff not very bothered, even for one night too expensive, had booked TV garden with entrance, will still write a complaint on travel

Basic, functional, not at all near tourist areas

The hotel is basic and functional. If you need to be nearby for work or if you can get an exceptionally good price you'll be fine. It's well past its prime and is more hostel-level in terms of room quality. As an old building there aren't many outlets. It's not at all near the touristy areas of Mainz, but a 20 minute bus ride will get you there. Breakfast was pretty good. No sign of the bar being open, just a vending machine with bottles of beer. Staff were friendly and helpful, and because there weren't many people staying there it was easy to check in early
