Welcoming and good breakfast!

Super hospitable, slept wonderfully in peace and quiet, beautiful views and a delicious breakfast with home-baked nut bread. This hotel is definitely recommended if you are going to walk (part of) the Rennsteig or are just looking for a good hotel in a beautiful nature reserve.

Beautiful view.

We actually wanted to book here, but then read the reviews and booked at the Rennsteighotel instead. However, we wanted to see the beautiful view here; the path to the parking lot is quite adventurous, and we quickly turned back - beautiful view without a doubt, but we probably would not have enjoyed it here.

Wonderful renovated bathroom <3
Very nice, welcoming owners - felt at home and well taken care of. Good breakfast buffet with a lot of variety. Good location for hikes. We were very grateful that we could bring our two dogs with us.

Nice little hotel

With excellent service and warm welcoming owners and staff. Breakfast was great with very good coffee. The hotel also has a restaurant that we ended up eating in every night as it was really good. Would stay there again.
