Quiet and nice environment. Close to a cafe and Rewe supermarket. Room on the smaller side but acceptable.

Fallen into the trap with MyDays voucher.

We wanted to take a leisurely break at the hotel and had redeemed a MyDays voucher (Christmas gift).
Unfortunately we were forced to postpone the trip 2x (1x for funeral, 1x for business trip).
The first shift was already waved through in a gnashing of teeth (quote: "normally not possible at all"), whereas the second shift was rejected. You should send Frende or family.
Cancellation is not offered either - so you just pocket the money.
That may be lawful according to some terms and conditions, but in my view in this day and age an absolute impudence that I have not yet experienced - especially since we would like to come. If I otherwise book through the relevant booking portals, I usually always have a cancellation option up to at least 1 day before check-in.
What is not possible here is taken for granted elsewhere. How stupid of me that I took it for granted.
No help came from MyDays either - we were referred to the terms and conditions.
When I get to the point where I have to deal with the terms and conditions, then I know that I don't want to have anything to do with such "hosts".
Then better in the future without a MyDays voucher and only at hotels for which cancellations/postponements are always no problem - because something can always come up.
Learned something again: Keep an eye on when booking!

Arrived in the evening so reception was closed. Went across the road to where their restaurant was situated and found someone to check us in. Dealt with efficiently and in a friendly manner. Parking is on the street outside the hotel, no car park was mentioned, but we got parked on the street directly outside our window. Hotel faced directly onto a "main" road, but it was incredibly quiet inside the room. Bathroom was compact but tidy and sticked with toiletries - the shower had very poor pressure though so I opted to not wash my hair there.
Breakfast was across the road in the restaurant. It was pretty basic but at least they had English Breakfast Tea available (first we'd found in over a week!) Not a wide selection of food, but enough to get your day started.
