Spectacular location and an absolutely charming hotel. Room was massive and breakfast was great. Top tip - if you want to eat dinner at their restaurant (and you do - delicious) make sure to book in advance. Also, if you're considering just doing a day trip to Meissen instead, don't. Stay at least two nights. This town is spectacular.

Never again in this hotel

The rooms are musty, smell disgusting, there is no proper window for ventilation and fresh air. We looked at a metal construction and ventilation system that blew disgusting air into our room all night.
The employee then tried to get rid of the usual smells with a spray in the room.
Unacceptable for the price!!!
We expect a partial refund for the two rooms we booked!
We were unable to have breakfast in the hotel. We were sent to another hotel. The waiter had previously assured us that breakfast in the other hotel was available from 7:00 a.m. In the evening we were told that it would only be available from 7:30 a.m. When we arrived at the other hotel for breakfast, we were told that breakfast was only available from 8:00 a.m.
The evening meal in the hotel was bad.
The supposed house specialty - chicken - was dry and inedible.

Good beer selection, delicious knuckle

Business lunch with some colleagues after a city tour, good selection of Schwerter beer, good knuckle of pork with a delicious dark beer sauce, attentive service, you can go there again. Nice atmosphere at the market. Nice view
