Charming hotel very close to the train station. Comfortable room, helpful staff, and a very nice breakfast buffet.

sad but true

The room was directly facing the street, above a gambling den. Windows could not be opened / left open despite the temperatures, otherwise it smelled strongly of smoke and was very loud (station, traffic) (pulled up from below). Bad for an asthmatic. At the reception they thought we should have said something in the morning but whenever we came by the reception was not staffed.
No mattress protectors.
Breakfast: Coffee machine broken, very clear buffet, dry scrambled eggs.
Room size good, right at the train station. Staff very friendly.
Despite everything, the full price was charged, which is unacceptable.
