Family hostel

This is a modern youth hostel run by a friendly staff. Free Wifi (although too weak in my room, but available in the lounge area). The view of the Karwendel massif is spectacular.
The hostel is about an hour's walk from the train station, so be prepared for the hike or take a taxi.

Nicht empfehlenswert

Absolute Enttäuschung, Schränke waren kaputt und Schranktüren fehlten, es gab kaum Duschen und diese hatten dann auch noch fast durchsichtige Türen (Milchglas). Dazu kommt noch, dass das Personal unhöflich und respektlos mit einen umgeht, wenn man diese Mengel anspricht und genauso wird man auch behandelt, wenn man den Betreiber darauf anspricht. Echt schade das der Betreiber nicht mit berechtigter Kritik umgehen kann. Über die Sauberkeit brauche ich mich gar nicht beschweren, denn sonst wäre diese Bewertung unendlich lang. Bin sehr enttäuscht.

Tolles Preis-/ Leistungsverhältnis in super Lage

Alleine das Bergpanorama ist schon eine Reise wert. Tolle Lage inmitten von blühenden Wiesen. Wir hatten ein 3-Bett Familienzimmer mit eigenem Bad. Alles recht klein, aber wir waren ja nur zum schlafen da. Das Essen war wirklich sehr gut. Jeden Abend eine Suppe, eine warme Hauptspeise, Salatbuffet und Dessert. Sehr gute Qualität, wir waren begeistert. Vielen Dank an das Team vom alpinen Studienplatz.

Nette Jugendherberge

Moderne, saubere Jugendherberge mit netten Personal. Kann man jederzeit weiterempfehlen. Per Bus ist die JH allerdings nicht zu erreichen. Dadurch, dass die JH kleiner als z.B. Garmisch ist, ist sie persönlicher und Kinder finden schneller zueinander
