Still the best.
The rooms upstairs are very neat and the.mattresses are hard. Their wifi never disappoint, you get connected in every floor.
The host and her staff are always friendly. Breakfast is delicious and they offer a variety.
A nice place to visit.

There is a restaurant and a pub downstairs. They serve very nice food.

Comfortable suites, tasty food
Breakfast is not as varied as in larger (chain) hotels, but perfectly good and filling. Service is always friendly & helpful.
Location close to town centre, easily walkable.
The pub / restaurant is over a 100 years old and favoured by many locals. The food is good (in a solid, non-fancy way) and inexpensive.
Altogether definitely my first choice for staying in Moers.

Vorsicht: Preise wurden nachträglich erhöht
Die Übernachtung nahm meine Mutter wahr.
Im Vorfeld gab es bereits Irritationen zur Preisgestaltung. Auf Nachfrage wurde ein Preis für das Einzelzimmer benannt, der ca. 25 Euro unter den Internetangeboten war. Dieser Preis wurde sowohl im Vorfeld als auch beim Check-In nochmals bestätigt.
Beim CheckOut wurde eine Rechnung zu „Messepreisen“ vorgelegt und mit dem Hinweis, dass dies im Vorfeld vergessen wurde begründet.
Zusätzlich war das TV defekt und „zum Ausgleich“ dafür fand eine relativ laute Feier im Restaurant statt, an der man dadurch indirekt lange teilhaben „durfte“.
Zimmer/Frühstück/Service waren ansonsten okay.

familiäre Atmosphäre
ich war bereits mehrfach, sowohl im Hotel als auch im Restaurant. Besonders schätze ich die freundliche familiäre Atmosphäre. Die Chefin wie auch alle Mitarbeitenden haben immer ein offenes Ohr und sorgen für einen angenehmen Aufenthalt. Gerade jetzt in diesen schwierigen Zeiten haben sie ihre gute Laune und Aufmerksamkeit für Ihre Kunden*innen nicht verloren, so dass man Corona fast vergessen könnte.
Das Haus ist älteren Baujahrs und nicht auf dem neuesten Stand, aber es ist sauber und ordentlich und Preis/Leistung sind definitiv in Ordnung. Manche finden es nicht gut, dass es nur Badewannen und keine Duschen gibt. Gerade das schätze ich :) Die Prioritäten sind einfach unterschiedlich gelagert, ich finde jedoch, dass das Allerwichtigste ist, dass man sich wohl fühlt! Und sollte mal etwas nicht ganz so optimal laufen, wird sich gekümmert und eine Lösung gefunden. Das ist ganz bestimmt nicht überall so!
Die Küche ist gut bürgerlich, lecker, wer da nicht satt wird ist selbst schuld ;)
Was mich sehr positiv überrascht hat war, dass selbst die reduzierte Auswahlkarte in Coronazeiten so abwechslungsreich ist, dass für jeden Geschmack etwas dabei ist!
Mein Fazit: einfach selbst ausprobieren, ich werde treue Kundin bleiben :)
