Never again!

I went to Baumberg Beach with friends.
In my opinion, the food has NOTHING to do with Greece.
Price performance does not fit at all.
Service equal to zero...
Far too few staff!!!
We will definitely come back!
I wouldn't recommend it to anyone.

Can't recommend in any way !

At least for my room, the pictures did not correspond to reality. In bathroom+WC you could not ventilate. Room window was very small and seemed locked at first glance. Beds didn't seem to have been used for some time. Heating was switched off, which was an advantage in view of the small possibilities for ventilation. Hallway lights turn off after 1 minute and leave you on the stairs in the dark. Toilet paper was not renewed. After about 30 minutes in the room I decided not to stay there, but still had to pay the full room rate.

Review of the stay at the “Hotel Baumberger Rheinterrasse.” from 22 to 26 February

om 22 to 26 February 2025 we spent four nights at the “Hotel Baumberger Rheinterrasse.” The location of the property is undoubtedly excellent and offers views of the Rhine. Unfortunately, the quality of accommodation did not meet our expectations for a hotel in Germany in this price category. The rooms were small and despite the skylights overlooking the Rhine had a damp and musty atmosphere. The overall impression of the accommodation suggests that it is in a financially difficult situation. During our four-day stay, our room was not cleaned once. This indicates significant problems with the cleaning staff and significantly affects the hygiene of the accommodation. Breakfast was served in an uncomfortable, dark corner. The selection consisted predominantly of low-quality food packaged in plastic. In summary, the excellent location of the “Hotel Rheinblick” cannot compensate for the shortcomings in terms of service, cleanliness and quality of food.

Very basic hotel.

Hotel is very simply. Small, clean room. Basic bathroom. Basic breakfast. Horrible pillows, you can’t sleep on. Beautiful view on Rhein river. Location is between Cologne and Düsseldorf. Staff is nice, but not all of them speak English.

Never again

Never again. Those two words say it all!
This is not really a hotel, but more an average bar restaurant. Rooms are basic, very basic. Safety and security is questionable and the service is bad.
Never again.
