Very good but not a full score

This hotel is very good with nice rooms, professional staff and situated in a good spot along the Mosel river. The downsides are the lack of AC. Fans was provided in the rooms but they were only a little help. Windows needed to be open and so on. The second downside was the resturant that didn't provided the service you'd expect from a hotel that caters towards luxury, but our complanits were addressed properly and compensated in a good way. Breakfast was excellent. Parking is just over the road and the hotel has a lift. THe nocie level around the hotel is low, but the open windows to battle heat makes it possible to hear close by rooms. Rooms also lacked a minibar for cooling drinks and stuff. While the outside and the area is very pretty the rooms felt a bit "Standard" with a luxury twist. The beds very soft and nice.

Very beautiful house, top service, and excellent food.

The hotel is beautifully located, and the building is very beautiful and historic. The hotel is well-maintained with great attention to detail. The breakfast is just as impressive as we were convinced by the dinner.
The service is very good and attentive.

Nice and nicely located hotel, however for us one time only

We have unfortunately not experienced the many positive comments about this hotel. The room was not the one we had reserved (Charm) small, even smaller bathroom and no air conditioning (it was 32-34°C) The fan has been ripe for demolition for years. Breakfast was excellent but dinner was not bad but the choice very limited (fish or schnitzel) and day 1 not my taste. So day 2 solved with a la carte menu.... we thought. Unfortunately this was not possible due to a large group of guests??. Everyone that night a set 3 course menu, including a main course that I had the night before.
Too bad, because it is a nice hotel in a nice location, but unfortunately for us one time only. Accept a large group, ok, but not at the expense of other hotel guests.

Unfortunately, the price-performance ratio is not right.

The room is outdated.
270 euros for one night with breakfast is too expensive.
The service during dinner was unacceptable; after 15 minutes of waiting at the table, we were finally greeted.
There was a 45-minute wait until the first course, and after an inquiry,
we received no response regarding the wine.
On the day of departure, they wanted to charge us for the room again, even though
we had been charged by booking four days ago.
We will definitely not return.
I will come back again in September.
The hotel and the entertainment left no reason for complaint.
Regarding my hand, the food, service, and friendliness of everyone were excellent.
Five stars plus.
