A Lovely Stay.
The Location was outstanding with frequent Trams to all Areas of Munich. The Rooms were very good and has everything you need. Fridge, Hairdryer, TV and Safe. I was in Room 408 which could be a problem to people who don’t like hearing the Lift noises for example the machine in the lift shaft which clicks when the lift reaches floors but wasn’t a problem with me. Some rooms get cleaned which mine did but my work colleague’s room wasn’t cleaned one day. The staff are lovely. I really enjoyed my Stay there. The Atmosphere was great. The value of the Hotel was very good.

Bad service - disappointing

Unfortunately, our stay at the Leonardo Hotel at the Olympic Park was very disappointing.
The check-in process was already unpleasant. Despite our late arrival, the staff member at the front desk seemed uninterested and unfriendly. He was mostly occupied with his cell phone and gave us no information about the hotel. You literally had to pry every piece of information out of him.
The room also did not leave a good impression. Although it was a double room, there was only one set of towels provided. There were stains on the wall that looked like blood. The toilet was not clean upon our arrival and still showed traces of the previous guest. Furthermore, the toilet brush was so jammed in the holder that it could not even be taken out.
Overall, we had the impression that both the cleanliness and the service are significantly below what one can expect from a hotel of this category. For us, that was unfortunately a disappointing experience.

Nice hotel with great ac
The hotel was nice. We had a comfort room, and while it didn't have a balcony, it had a view towards the Olympic Park. At first, the room door lock was glitching a bit, but it surprisingly fixed itself.
The tram took us to the center of Munich in under 10 minutes, but the ticket app worked really poorly. It was about a 3 km walk to BMW Welt and the museum.
The air conditioning was great and very easy to adjust.
The hotel breakfast was nice, not chaotic at all and with plenty of options.
There's also a small bar in the hotel where I got a Cosmo, and it was really good.
Near the hotel, there's a restaurant called Axel F, where we had great food and some Hugo Spritz.
The housekeeper was great, they always came in the afternoon and brought a new glass water bottle. There was no minibar in the room, just an empty fridge where we could put our own stuff.
There are also shops near the hotel at Leonrodplatz.
We couldn't hear any noise from the neighboring rooms or the hallway. An affordable hotel, but still a step up in quality. The staff was also very nice :).

Great hotel, close to the Olympic Park
Positive
- Large, spacious rooms with enough storage space
- Our room had a sufficiently large balcony with a table and two chairs; we enjoyed that very much
- Air conditioning
- The location, a bit outside of Munich, near the Olympic Park, was perfect for us
- Helpful receptionists who easily provided us with an electric kettle upon request

- The rooms are generally clean, no question about that. However, our carpet in the room was just totally trashed, old, and stained.
- Gap in the double bed (two mattresses?)
- Large, spacious rooms with enough storage space
- Our room had a sufficiently large balcony with a table and two chairs; we enjoyed that very much
