Hospitality that comes from the heart

We stayed for two nights at the beautiful country hotel Broda. Already on our arrival we were warmly welcomed by the host. During our stay we felt completely comfortable and enjoyed the cozy atmosphere.
Everything was very clean throughout the hotel, and the personal touch came into its own. In the quiet surroundings we were able to relax wonderfully, and the proximity to the water was ideal for relaxing walks.
The heart of our stay was the lovingly designed breakfast: From fresh bread rolls to homemade spreads and regional honey to the cereal bar, there was everything your heart desires. As passionate tea drinkers, we were also enthusiastic about the high-quality tea selection.
The next stay is already booked.

Small break on the edge of town

Actually, I should have canceled the stay because of the girlfriend's illness. On the day of arrival I got a call from the hotel when we arrive !? After a short conversation my plan was changed and we arrived the next day and stayed 2 nights. A nice reception by a female employee was at the beginning. When entering the room there were many Ahs. Lovingly and comfortably furnished, with natural materials and thoughtful furnishings - large desk, rotating TV, cozy sofa, extra stool, large closet. Spacious room, very good lighting with modern lights, modern, nicely warm :-) bathroom, a cozy, comfortable boxspringbed (with natural materials ) with several pillows and wonderful linen. A bottle of mineral water was available for refreshment. Breakfast left nothing to be desired. Freshly prepared salads, sliced fruits and vegetables, homemade spreads , pesto... various bread and rolls. The tea bar alone could certainly compete with some large hotels. From the hotel you can reach the Tollensesee on foot and can choose different routes through the park. Parking is available in front of and behind the hotel. We felt very comfortable and would love to come back.

Warning – outrageous and aggressive owner !

I strongly advise against staying at this hotel !!!
Reason: The very unfriendly, even aggressive owner, There are no staff at the hotel, which does not surprise me. Confirmation that there is no basic Sewris in the hotel. I was there for four nights and had to ask for an extra towel, which was dispensed with great displeasure.
The bin must be emptied itself.
The smell from the drain in the bathroom was unpleasant.
When I checked in, I wanted to make the payment – the answer was that I could do this later. The staff was very friendly and informed me that breakfast is only served from 7:00 in the morning. I have informed that I am on business and will leave the hotel before 7:00 am. The answer was that this was not a problem and I could take a coffee to take away as someone would be at the reception before 7:00 a.m.
On the day of departure – at 6:45 a.m. – the employee told me that I could not pay at her place, but at the owner's.
And this is where the problems began – the employee simply wanted to help and, as it turned out, woke up the high-ranking gentleman and owner.
He came to the reception after 15 minutes, waved his arms and started cursing and shouting at me. He was loud, screaming and insulting me!
I was shocked and out of concern for myself I ended up paying, but all the explanations and the fact that I had announced I was leaving early didn't help.
I wish everyone who works there every success! He didn't apologize for his behavior, shouted at me and threatened me! The matter should be reported to the police.
I left the place with fear and out of concern for my safety....

Lovely hotel.

Booked this hotel for 3 nights to stay locally for the Boxing. Was a perfect place to stay as not to far to the Arena and the 'town'. Found a few local bars to keep us occupied in the evenings. Very friendly owner who looked after us.
