The room was spotless. The staff was incredible, including giving us a ride to an event we had to attend to when no taxis were available. The breakfast was a typical European style and was superb.

Wonderful little gem of a family run hotel with amazing views of the river and valley. The owner and team couldn’t have been more helpful and welcoming. If I could give 6 stars I would. Would definitely stay again, cannot recommend highly enough.

Dreamlike

We were pleasantly surprised, a very nice place that deserved its name very much. Very friendly welcome, nice and clean room with beautiful views. Very cozy and comfortable in every respect.
In the evening at the bar friendly hospitality and the next morning an extensive buffet and fried eggs of your choice with very friendly and courteous hospitality. Anytime very happy again. As a farewell we receive a bottle of wine from the nearby winery (!!!)

Torture bed

Positive first:
Nice view, delicious, if very manageable breakfast
Room was ok in itself, although in the shower the shower did not go but only the rain shower, bed was really extremely hard and uncomfortable though. I woke up several times that night because of back pain. When I looked under the mattress, I also saw why: not an elastic slatted frame but hard wooden boards. Since a hotel is there to sleep in, that really is not possible for me, even more so at a room rate of 137 euros per night plus breakfast 15 euros per person plus parking fees of 10 euros in a very narrow underground garage.

The nicest staff that made us feel extremely welcome from arrival until departure. Lovely, personal hotel in this small gem of a town. From outside, the hotel doesn't look like much - but I assure you, it is worth a visit.
