Wonderful hotel, delicious food, top service!!!

We stayed for one night and as part of a family celebration at this wonderful hotel.
The location is wonderful on the lake, the rooms very stylish, loving and welcoming and the service excellent: polite, hardworking and yet unobtrusive. We spent nice hours there and can only recommend this place, as everything from the delicious food to the rooms was really tip top!

The best thing up front: the bed was great!
In the room no minibar, no safe, no refrigerator, no info stapler.
Parking is available on site for a fee, but there is plenty of free parking nearby.
Breakfast costs 18€ per person, but the choice is very manageable for this price. Three slices of bread, ready cut in the display, no crossaints, no baguette, just rolls.
No labelling of food and salads.
A thermos filter coffee for all guests, alternative is a fully automatic coffee machine.
Tealights were present on the table, but were not lit by the attendant.
The plates used were not cleared either. The salt shaker (plastic) on the table was badly damaged, nobody cared.
All in all, there is still plenty of room for improvement. We expected much more for this price range.

Quiet location

A very quiet, smaller hotel on the harbour. Room overlooking the lake, spacious, unfortunately carpeted, no safe, no minibar, no refrigerator, no air conditioning.
Staff quite impersonal, service idea still expandable: Even in the nicest summer weather, breakfast is not covered on the terrace, the guest has to do it himself. Breakfast neat.
For all this, the price level is not quite appropriate.

Modern hotel in Historic Building by a Lake

This an excellent hotel with friendly and helpful service. My room was quiet and comfortable. The hotel has a great location adjacent to a small lake. I didn’t have breakfast but I ate dinner in the restaurant - the food and service were very good.

Room meets expectations for the price

Nice, spacious and clean hotel room. We had a room which was very new (didn’t have a room nr yet) at the end of a hallway. It was well equiped with a little seating area. The floor was soft and looked clean.
Great breakfast and you could see the staff was keeping an eye on it to replenish things when needed.
We came by bike and could park them in a closed garage.
Two things why it didn’t exceed my expectations:
- the bathroom was rather improvised with little space for basic toiletries
- internet didn’t work properly
The hotels location is great, right at the waterside with some cafe’s and terraces.
