Great hotel with great restaurant

The "Wildhof" in Neustrelitz is a great address for excellent food and family flair in a small nice hotel.
The location is perfect to find peace and have the city nearby.Great
Breakfast leaves little to be desired.
The food in the restaurant just great!!! The chef (and chef ) understands his craft !!
If we are drawn to Neustrelitz again, we will gladly come back!

Outside hui....

Such an outstandingly beautiful building, such a great flair and the rest disappoints all along the line. Not only that the service staff received us very harshly, but also the mix-up of Campari and Aperol disappointed us. Unfortunately, the food followed suit. I, as a game lover, was full of anticipation. Unfortunately, taste is completely off. Unfortunately, the meat is almost inedible and underlaid with an undefinable spice. Very disappointing...

A dinner with negative experiences

Were at the restaurant for dinner. The dishes, we had liver ragout and game ragout did not correspond in any way to our expectations. The game ragout was badly seasoned, the liver ragout was dry and had very little or no sauce.Even a normal housewife would have gotten a better dish from these ingredients. It's a shame. In this very nice ambience, the food should also have a high level, especially in terms of prices. And we missed that.We will not recommend the restaurant.

Nice hotel, good food, breakfast okay

The sleeping comfort was good, the hotel and the room were absolutely clean, the staff were very nice.
The dinner was good. I had venison steak, which was super tasty. Unfortunately, the cold salad with balsamic dressing was placed on top of the warm vegetables. An absolute no-go in my eyes. I didn't eat it either. I would have preferred a small extra salad bowl. If you feel the same: please order the salad accordingly.
I found the breakfast rather spartan - perhaps that was because it is a small hotel and not all the rooms were occupied. I thought 16.36 euros for this breakfast was completely excessive.
But overall, at 87.67 euros, it was very cheap.

Great for game

Six of us visited this hotel's restaurant for dinner. The building is attractive as is the spacious bar on entering. On a warm evening some people were dining outside. The menu is predominantly game, which was the reason we chose the place. We were not disappointed: the service was polite and discreet, all the meat dishes were excellent, as was the wine. If you like wild boar or venison in particular this place is worth a diversion.
