Cheap and central

Very centrally located hotel in an old building with very nicely furnished rooms. Very friendly staff. The breakfast room is a bit old and uncomfortable (probably a former event hall).

GOOD STANDARD FOR A GOOD PRIZE

This hotel in the city center of Northeim is placed in a medieval house. The atmosphere is kind of cottage style with squeaking floor boards. The furniture and carpets are slightly worn out. The rooms come either with a very tiny bathroom cabin for a lower price or with a "normal" bathroom. I found single and double rooms all adequately sized, they also offer 3 bed family rooms. Breakfast is served in an impressive ballroom - the offer is ok for a small hotel. There is no Hotel restaurant or bar.
The staff, usually the owner himself, is friendly and helpful.
Limited parking is available, make sure you book it.
I stayed in this hotel several times; alone and with my family. It is the best price-value offer in and around Northeim.

Very basic but friendly

Rooms are very basic and the bathroom is really tiny, but the shower is fine. We chose this hotel because it wassupoosed to have free wifi throughout the hotel. The Wifi is virtually non existant with a very low signal and didn't work in our room. The staff are friendly. Breakfast was also very basic. Don't expect to get a decent meal in town.

Good hotel in small town

Stayed at the hotel for one night on our way back from holiday. It is pretty close to the autobahn, while still located in a city (north of Kassel) with a number of shops and restaurants.
The staff where very friendly and spoke excellent English. Private parking was provided for free and so was the internet - except for the fact that our room was too far away to pick up the wireless signal...
Rooms were celan and spacious, but no A/C
Basically, a good standard hotel while you are on the move.

Kan absolutt anbefales

Et hyggelig opphold med en utrolig hyggelig vert. Vi kjørte motorsykler, og verten sto i porten og tok oss i mot og lot oss parkere inne bak låst port. Flotte rom beliggende i gågata med kort avstand til det meste. Stille og rolig. God frokost som ble inntatt i en diger sal. Er vi i nærheten kommer vi tilbake
