Still tried and tested quality, delicious food and great service

Even though I was skeptical about the many bad reviews, I returned to the “Green Tree” after many years. Close to the fair, a very nice inn and hotel in the heart of Nuremberg Kornburg. Twenty years ago, I was here for the very first time: The Blödel family, a great family living for the gastronomy: here the chef still comes to the table and greets all guests personally. Formerly the senior, now that makes Christian Blödel, the junior boss, just as cordial! The waiters are still familiar faces! All very friendly and hospitable. And the food: Schäuferle at its finest, lumberjack steak or carp, here you can find delicious Franconian specialities for a small price. We are looking forward to the next two days and we will come back!!!! Thank you, family bastards

Unfortunately, no good kitchen anymore.

We were at the Gasthaus Grüner Baum Kornburg on July 1st.
It is known for traditional home-style cooking.
We ordered roast pork and meatloaf,
the roast pork was not roasted and was covered with a ready-made sauce.
The salad was just okay.
The meatloaf tasted like coarse liver cheese and had the same flavorless sauce as the roast pork. It was served with mashed potatoes that tasted watery and old. As a side, there was "leek vegetables," also a thick white ready-made sauce, completely flavorless and very thick with very little leek in it.
We are sad that unfortunately, you can no longer get good and healthy food here,
but the place is usually packed full.

Nice place ...

I write my comment regarding the restaurant only.
We ate there for dinnar during our tour , unfortunately for us we didn' t find place outside because full of guests but inside only.
We found large variety of characteristic german local food and a very good beer.
Good quality/price ratio.

Unfassbar schlecht!

Zimmer alt. Im ganzen Haus riecht es nach Räucherofen und Wurstwaren.
Heizungen funktionieren nicht. Zimmer sehr abgewohnt. Sehr hellhörig. Das Telefon der Rezeption hört man immer (auch nachts) bis in den zweiten Stock.
Frühstück unterirdisch. Trockene Brötchen und definitiv nichtmehr stand der Technik.
Ich komme nichtmehr wieder

Ich würde nicht noch einmal hier Buchen, Achtung bem bezahlen und kontrollieren sind alle Rechnungen.

Alte in den Jahren gekommen Zimmer und nicht gerade sauber. Das Essen war gut nur bei der Bezahlung wurde falsch abgerechnet, ich würde sogar sagen abgezockt. Also Achtung beim bezahlen und die Rechnung genau prüfen.
