This hotel is conveniently situated close to the railway station. The rooms are comfortable and clean; the bathroom excellent with a powerful shower, and despite the central location it was quiet and cool. The breakfast is very good and the staff friendly and helpful. My husband used the sauna which was well maintained and relaxing

Marriott at its worst

This has to top the worst Marriott we have stayed in. At Titanium level we have stayed in numerous properties. It’s an old, dull dark building. Lobby has a few worn out chairs dotted around. No body to help with your bags, and no welcome from front desk to recognize status. Room was upgraded, but it’s in dire need of a refurbishment. Black doors, grey carpets and walls, horrible bathroom with dated fittings and a bathtub. Breakfast well luckily we didn’t pay due to our status and thank god, because at around 40 euros a person you won’t get any omelette, or any table service coffee and if you are lucky some warm prosseco. It can’t be that challenging to place prosseco in an ice bucket? They don’t refill food that runs out. The person manning the eggs station (no omelette) could not be seen. Hash browns were rock hard. Bacon swimming in grease. GM needs to sort this hotel out. Looks like they rely on location but care less about anything else including any status. Better off in a 3 star hotel as this place is near 2 stars and that’s generous.

Above expectations

Excellent hotel, a Marriott property. Nice spacious room, clean and well appointed. Very friendly and helpful multilingual front desk staff. Buffet breakfast has an enormous variety to satisfy anyones tastes and dietary needs. Hotel is well located across from the major rail station, a very short walk to a popular entrance to the old walled city and also the Nurenburg underground. Highly recommend and hope to come back
