Airport hotel near Munich international airport. It was really hot days but room was air conditioned. They have bar open till late and it was helpful. I didn’t go to restaurant but seems like menu was limited for the day. Fitness gym was in temporary space but still useful.

Horrible service, out-dated hotel
Good evening,
I am reporting the conditions of the hotel regarding customer service. I stayed at this hotel as my flight from Lufthansa was delayed and I lost my connecting flight; the re-booking was made for the following day, so I had to stay overnight in the vicinity of Munich airport. The company has to know how this hotel is functioning, as I believe the customer comments have not been enough for the company to make changes (in the staff, primarily). After waiting in line to re-book the flight at the Lufthansa counter at Munich airport, I was given a voucher for this hotel (overnight room, dinner and breakfast the next day). When arriving at the hotel reception, and waiting for my turn, I immediately saw the despicable way of the staff at the reception dealing with other missed flights' passengers such as me. I was asked to book a time for the shuttle bus back to the airport the next day. As I had to leave at 6.30, the latest, to catch a 8.30 flight, I was informed I could not have a proper breakfast, I would be given a 'box' instead. I was given a room, and I went to the room to have a shower before eating. The room did not comply with a 4* hotel such as it is advertised at the reception, and the hotel is below the 4 stars you advertise. Room 318: door did not lock from inside the room, bed was not made; duvet on top for me to do it; it was not a matter of doing the bed, which was not a problem to me, but this is not a service equivalent to a 4* hotel service. The window had a thin paper-like curtain which did not cut the light from outside, and the noise from the road could be heard just like if you had opened the window. Went downstairs after having a shower to eat, the restaurant was closed with a large cord, and the 'dinner' room was a small room with a few tables and chairs. The 'buffet' options were two different chicken dishes (which tasted of those already made meals you buy at the supermarket and «cook« in the microwave. Soup (tomato) was definitely a ready-to-go made soup, as it was so acidic, from the tomato concentrate I could only swallow two spoons of it. I searched for drinks and dessert, fruit, nothing. I asked a staff member who was filling the space of water glasses with clean glasses (and gave me one, which was so hot from the washing machine I could not use it to fill with cool water, also from a machine near the glasses' stand). I asked for any dessert options and was immediately shut up by a staff member who was taking the food away saying: 'You have what (the airline) pays for; (the airline) does not pay more, no dessert. This is what you have" in German. "And you can stay inside and finish eating, if you leave the room, you will no longer be able to get in. Finished." Is this a 4* hotel service? The airline has a contract with the hotel company to send the cancelled and delayed flights' passengers to spend the night in this hotel, plus dinner and breakfast. But I believe neither the airline, or the hotel company know how this service works in practice. The noise from the bar was very loud (two or three men drinking there), but so loud, it could be heard until the middle of the corridor in the 2nd floor, due to the echo provoked by the hotel gallery. Plus it was strange music, I felt like I was somewhere else other than Germany, really bad taste, in my opinion, to be the background music of a hotel. Gladly my room was located after the middle of the corridor, so I could have silence. The next day I went downstairs around 6.15-6.20 to be able to ask several things before leaving; the same 'music' was already playing very loud. I asked immediately about the noise at 6h in the morning, and I was not given an answer as the staff member kept repeating the time at which he turns on the music, and the time at which he turns it off. Neither in English or German. I was given a bag, in which I could only recognise a concentrated refrigerant. While I was at this, the same staff member mentioned the bus, I looked outside and the bus was gone. The one I was supposed to get in. I just left and called a car to the airport.

Was ok
Booked for a flight the following day.
Unfortunately, I didn't pay attention and got a room facing the street. It was not restful.
Super loud .
No coffee machine in the room is ok, but at the breakfast buffet, buying a coffee and a croissant for 18€ was not easy.

Very comfortable beds and pillows. Room was spacious. Shower was OK. We couldn't get the a/c to work but the room did have a window to open. Coffee pot and spoons needed to be cleaner but they were OK. I would stay there again. Staff was very helpful.

Deplorable
Really bad. We were assigned to this hotel when rebooking the flight (Lufthansa) really bad dinner, have to chase staff because there is no drink to the bad food, etc… miserable .. feels like you are on a school trip. Rooms ok but responsive.
If you want to stay cheap with poor service you have found the right place, otherwise avoid this place.
